About this property
The Grain Store, Newgale
The Grain Store is a large and luxurious open plan barn, set in stunning, unspoilt countryside, offering far-reaching views. Less than 10 minutes from the spectacular beach at Newgale on the Pembrokeshire coast, this beautiful family-friendly cottage is part of a group of five cottages converted from the old farm buildings.
Original features combined with modern comfort make this cottage ideal for a family holiday and the private driveway makes it safe and secure with no passing traffic. Relax in the comfortable lounge area with a cosy wood burner for cooler days or enjoy meals outdoors on the large patio with BBQ.
The Grain Store is only a 10-minute drive from the Pembrokeshire coast and centrally located for exploring the county. Walkers will love Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with miles of spectacular scenery, quaint villages and beautiful beaches. The beaches of St Bride's Bay offer surfing, kayaking, coasteering and miles of golden sand for relaxing, building sandcastles and rock pooling.
Solva village and its pretty harbour are just over 10 minutes away, the tiny cathedral city of St Davids with its majestic cathedral is within 20 minutes drive, and it's less than half an hour to Fishguard and Haverfordwest. Families will love a day out visiting the popular family attractions of Folly Farm and Heatherton, or taking a boat trip to the islands of Ramsey or Skomer just off the coast.
ACCOMMODATION
The Grain Store sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin bedroom. Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor and therefore the cottage is ideal for guests with restricted mobility. The barn is also fully accessible with level access from the car park. The living area is open plan and double height. We are keen to lighten the load of parents travelling with young children so we can provide cots, highchairs, stair gates, baby monitors, baby baths, etc. If you need anything else, please ask as we can normally accommodate most requests.
