About this property
Blaenfforest Rose Cottage, Newcastle Emlyn
An enchanting traditional stone cottage has been transformed into a snug holiday cottage, set in unspoilt surroundings with total peace and tranquillity. The cottage has a completely secure, gravelled and fenced area to the front looking out onto the main courtyard - a lovely spot for morning coffee or early evening drinks. Enter the slate floored kitchen through an original stable door which is lovely to leave open in the warmer weather.
Located just outside the delightful historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn, nestled within the stunningly beautiful Teifi Valley. The high street is a popular shopping destination due to its wide array of independent shops, arts and crafts and antique centres. Only a short drive from the cottage, you can find the village of Cenarth, which is famous for the Cenarth Falls, a series of small waterfalls and pools. There you can enjoy a scenic woodland stroll along the Afon Teifi, walk across the 18th-century Cenarth Bridge and observe the great view down the river to the falls.
A little further afield, you can find yourself at the charming seaside village of Aberporth, which is home to two stunning beaches and a fantastic coast path. Relax on the sandy beach and take a dip in the sea, or if you're feeling adventurous, rent a paddle board for a couple of hours. Explore the village's local amenities and discover delicious food right on the seafront.
