Garden Cottage is a cottage with a kitchen, dining room with woodburning stove and a sitting room with open fire. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with seating. Within 2.1 miles there is a shop and within 0.3 miles there is a pub, and please note, one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, there is no smoking. A travel cot and highchair is also provided. The innovative Rheged Centre in Penrith is within easy reach of the village with its exhibitions, large 3D screen, shops, play area and spa. Historic sites include, Long Meg and Her Daughters which is the third largest stone circle in England, and Hadrian’s Wall, both a short drive away. Ullswater, Keswick and Pooley Bridge are all stunning lakeside locations within easy reach. This village is perfectly placed to discover the stunning scenery and many activities the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes District National Parks have to offer.
