If you’re looking for a dog friendly place to eat or drink, we’d recommend a visit to The Scruffy Duck where you’ll find delicious, traditional British food. You can’t visit Norton without trying the North East’s famous ‘parmo’ so a visit to The Open Jar is also a must! For a great steak or cocktail, head to Meet at 12 which is the newest hotspot in Norton. If you like Indian cuisine, Jolsha is a great choice. When it comes to cafes, Café Lilli and Café Maison are just two of our favourites. You really will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating and drinking during your stay!
You can’t miss Norton’s huge village green and duck pond. This green space is a focal point within the town and has been around for centuries. It's the perfect spot to relax in the summer sun with a picnic of delights from the local independents.
