About this property
Lavington, Johnston - One Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 2
Lavington is a beautiful and charming cottage, centrally located in Pembrokeshire, midway between Haverfordwest and Milford Haven. The perfect base for couples wanting to relax and unwind, whilst getting to explore Pembrokeshire and the wider area. Cosy up beside the wood burner at the end of the day. Johnston is a wonderful village with open countryside.
Johnston village has several pubs, shops, cash point, post office, chemist, buses and even a local station, in case you wish to arrive by train. There is also a traditional fish and chip shop as well as a Chinese take away. Haverfordwest is only a short drive away, the centre of Haverfordwest is dominated by the Western Cleddau that runs through the town and the castle. The town has many cafes, restaurants, pubs for you to indulge in and shops for you to wander. Visit the true gem of Pembrokeshire, Tenby, where you'll find bundles to do.
The seaside town of Tenby is colourful town that houses four beautiful beaches for you to relax, sunbathe and swim on. Roam the cobbled streets and explore the many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Tenby also has many fantastic boat trips such as seal spotting or visiting the neighbouring island of Caldey Island. St Davids also makes a great day out while Broad Haven and Little Haven on St Brides Bay is a must-see with some of Pembrokeshire's most stunning views. Walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and enjoy the sea air. There are numerous beaches just a short drive away, and a myriad of hidden watery gems to discover along the Cleddau estuary. Bring a bicycle and enjoy the numerous off road cycle tracks.
