This beautiful historic 5 bedroom home is located walking distance to town, restaurants , night life, and ferry service to Newport in the Summer. A well maintained, 9-hole golf course that has exceptional island views, and pub is conveniently located across the street...Which also serves the best burgers in town.

There are 4 bedrooms on second floor. 2 bedrooms have a queen bed with a private bathroom. The 2 other bedrooms have 2 twin beds each and share a bathroom. There is also a bedroom on first floor with queen bed and private bath. House includes a formal dining room, living room, kitchen with pantry, and also a sunroom. A bluestone patio overlooks the large backyard with pond and includes 2 outdoor dining tables, chairs, and a grill. Jamestown is a wonderful island to explore and this property also allows for easy access to all Newport has to offer. Property can also be priced dependent on guests under some circumstances during the off-season. There is also a carriage house on property that is usually reserved for the caretaker or owner.

Newport Wedding

Overall the property was very comfortable and was ideally situated to attend a wedding and other events in Newport. We very much enjoyed the house. My only feedback for the owners is that it would be a nice touch to provide some bathroom amenities such as hand soap and shampoo. It’s my first stay at a property where it wasn’t provided. Would highly recommend the property as it was roomy enough for 4-5 couples or a large family.

Amazing spot for a moms getaway

The property was exactly as described & pictured. It is clean and had plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate 7 of us. Steve was easy to communicate with which made checking in and out a breeze. We are looking forward to visit again!

RI Bike Trip

Four couples and one recent widow. We have been biking together at least once a year for almost 40 years. It is not easy to find a place to stay which will so nicely accommodate our group.

Jamestown Family Reunion

Our family/friends had a wonderful week. The home and property were both beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with items for cooking. We have a few family members from Jamestown as well as dear family friends and all had a wonderful time!

Excellent place to stay!

We were a party of 8 (including a child, teens and adults) and we had a great stay. This was the 4th different house we've rented in this area (in the summertime), and this one far exceeded the others. The house was beautiful, with lots of room for everyone, and we thoroughly enjoyed the backyard patio. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had, as well. The location, on the beautiful island of Jamestown, with easy access to Newport and Narragansett, can't be beat. We'll definitely come back!

We were a group of 10 (5 couples) and this house met all our needs. The location was great whether you wanted to walk into town or drive into Newport. It’s also close to some nice walking paths . The house is well maintained inside and out. Communication with Steve was easy.

Weekend Wedding Retreat

This property was amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the wedding weekend. It had incredible character, lots of space for all of my family and friends who were in town for the festivities, and the owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a family gathering or just a lovely weekend away from the city to have a BBQ with close friends and family.

Four couples from all over the US had a great stay at the home in Jamestown! The owner was very accommodating and the location was superb for getting into Newport. It is difficult to find a home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms and this one was exceptional!

Perfect for family getaway

Just as advertised Bryer Farm was very spacious, a wonderful home base for a family reunion. The house was sparkling clean, kitchen well-stocked, and dining room exceptionally large. A hilight of our trip was sitting in front of the fireplace on super comfortable sofas after a crisp walk in Newport.

We rented this house for a long weekend recently to attend a family wedding in Newport. House was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. Location was convenient and house is beautiful! There is nothing not to love!

Where to start, the house is HUGE, beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained, the beds are great, the rooms are huge, the kitchen was perfect, the backyard looks like it out of a magazine, with a massive blue stone patio multiple tables and a grill, the front yard and driveway probably were in a magazine already. The view from the front of the house is the 9th hole on a really fun par 9 course. Newport is short drive or a $10 Uber. This was the best place we could have picked for our trip. Couldn't be happier. Also, the Steve and his wife were great. 5 Stars all day!

Pleasant Thanksgiving Holiday

This beautiful home was perfect for our Thanksgiving Holiday in Jamestown. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of parking, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and more towels then we could even use. At one point I was alone in the house and couldn't shut off one of the shower, the kind owner/property manager was there within minutes and had it fixed in a jiffy. The backyard is beautiful landscaping, a play gym and even a pond with a bridge over it that the kids loved. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. I also loved the little powder room under the stairs, so cute. We didn't do laundry, but could have used the washer & dryer if necessary. Really, this home has everything. The one thing I missed was my carrot peeler I have at home as we needed to peel apples for the pancakes we made for breakfast everyday. (They have one that didn't work for apples.) Also wish I had remembered to bring soap for bathing. Other than that, this house is perfect and I look forward to coming again!

I enjoyed a lovely, relaxing Fall Weekend with friends. This large home that sleeps 10 comfortably, had everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen and spacious dining room made for a enjoyable rainy night dinner at home.... comfortable living space and room for everyone to spread out if so desired. Location was fabulous....beautifully nestled on lovely grounds....short walking distance from the center of Jamestown with harbor views, dining and more. Short, 10 minute drive to Newport was the icing on the cake. Owner was wonderful to deal with. Very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this charming historic home.. We can't wait to return !!

Perfect in every way!

Being a native Jamestowner that has moved away, I was looking for just the right place to bring family back to the island we all so love! This home, location, and everything was perfect. We had plenty of room for us all since all the rooms are expansive in size. The quality of the home was wonderful. The only item I would ad would be a kitchen island but not having one does not detract from being 5 stars! This home was walking distance to town, amenities, beaches, and the shortest drive to the Newport Bridge for us to easily take a day to act like tourists in Newport! The owners live next door and are perfect hosts. I could not access the Wi-Fi (my own fumbling) and Steve was extremely patient with me until I figured it all out. If you have a chance to visit Jamestown and need a stunning home to rent, look no further!! Just don't take any time that I may want! LOL PS... for those that golf... it is directly across the street... like I said previously.. great location!!
