About this property
Orford Cottage - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
Aldeburgh, a charming coastal town nestled along the Suffolk Coast is a wonderful destination for your next holiday. With its picturesque pebble beach and colourful fishing boats, it offers a pretty place for leisurely strolls and long days on coast. Guests can explore the iconic Aldeburgh Beach Lookout, a contemporary art gallery with panoramic views of the North Sea. The town's High Street brims with independent shops, cafes, and traditional pubs, inviting travellers to savour the local delicacies and artisanal goods. The renowned Aldeburgh Festival, celebrating classical music and the arts is also hosted in the town. Nature enthusiasts can venture to nearby attractions like RSPB Minsmere Reserve, a haven for birdwatching and wildlife spotting, or the scenic Orford Ness National Nature Reserve, boasting unspoiled landscapes and a fascinating history. Whether indulging in fresh seafood, exploring coastal trails, or simply unwinding by the sea, Aldeburgh promises an idyllic retreat for all. This beautifully presented, central bolthole is the ideal escape for a family getaway in the heart of Aldeburgh.
Step inside and you are welcomed into the cosy sitting room equipped with comfy sofas, a Smart TV and gas fired wood burner creating the perfect place for chilled-out evenings. Following through the cottage, this leads to the open-plan kitchen and dining area. The fully fitted contemporary kitchen has excellent cooking facilities and equipment, a breakfast bar with wooden stools and a farmhouse dining table with seating for everyone to enjoy meals together. A contemporary shower room is also on the ground floor and is ideal for washing those sandy toes after a day at the beach. Upstairs hosts all three bedrooms; the first a generous king-size in a calming and neutral colour pallet, whilst the second and third bedrooms both offer twin beds. All have shared access to a family bathroom with a bath and WC.
