This quaint 1940's cottage is located in the heart of Marquette, Michigan. Only one block from the campus of Northern Michigan University. Near the hopspital, 3rd Street shopping, restaurants and brew pubs.

This home features two bedrooms, one with a full size bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. The cottage has two bathrooms, one with a tub (up) and one with a shower (main floor). A fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room makes this the place to stay! The backyard is private and the deck is a great place to hangout in the summer.

Lovely home away from home!

We were so pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and turned on the lights and the daylight made it even better. Despite the pristine condition and the updates, you can visualize a tranquil 1950's family scene in this house. It generates warmth and coziness. While we enjoyed most afternoons and evenings with family at the big lake, we thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing at this home away from home. So nice to find a Marquette rental with central air! We would definitely rent this home again!

Lovely place, accurately described

I don't normally give 5 stars across the board, but couldn't do otherwise in this case. This place has all you need with a cozy feel to it, and it's easy walking distance (or bike - I brought mine along) to all kinds of Marquette highlights on 3rd street, downtown, and the big lake. Great Location

This house is steps away from NMU. It is also very conveniently located to the downtown shops and restaurants. It is on a busy street, but because of the two nearby stop lights, backing out onto the street was not a problem.

Perfect spot for a long weekend of mountain biking in Marquette!!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this small cottage home in downtown Marquette over Labor Day weekend!! It was the perfect size for two couples to use as a home base for our weekend activities. We could walk to a number of different restaurants downtown for breakfast before heading out to spend the day mountain biking on the many awesome trails that Marquette, Negaunee and Ishpeming have to offer. We also enjoyed being able to walk to places for dinner and to stops at our favorite brewpubs. Our host, Heidi, was a tremendous communicator and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Check-in was easy and she also provided several extra items that were nice to have while we were there. We just love Marquette!! We look forward to many more visits to this fun, outdoor mecca (including winter!!). Hopefully we'll be able to book another stay at this wonderful cottage home as well. Thanks for everything Heidi!

Sweet Cottage Stay

The Cottage on 7th was a perfect spot for our weekend in Marquette. It is cozy and clean. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. We will certainly stay here again.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Marquette

We had a wonderful stay at a cozy, clean house that was well equipped with extras. Marquette provides an outdoor paradise for the time we were there and the accommodations comfortable and central to all that we did (Mt biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming). This was our second stay for the four of us, and we will be coming back.

Marquette Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Marquette and the cottage was very nice. The AC is great on the first floor, nice kitchen, comfortable furniture and a great shower. Upstairs was a little warm during our stay bu there was a bit of a heat wave in Marquette. Hosts were really helpful. Pointed us to an orthodontist when my son discovered that he had lost his bands. I would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Marquette!

What a great place to stay! We loved this charming house. It was very clean, with great upgrades to the house. There is a HUGE tile shower that was fabulous. The location couldn't have been any better to visit our daughter at NMU. Close to campus, and very convenient! The house was stocked well with anything we needed... even some extras that weren't expected. There was a great selection of games on the shelves, and we had a fun game night with our college student. We will definitely be back!
