Charming House in Triquivijate with Private Pool, Mini Golf and BBQ
House Leandro:
Its origins date back to the end of the 19th century and since then it has passed from generation to generation, always run by women. At one point in its history it was the place where the neighbours went to grind grain, later it was used as a post office and two generations ago it was used as a house and for farm work.
The house is characterised by its faithful original structure of a Canarian house of its time with a central courtyard facing south. It has been adapted over time and has finally been renovated in favour of the environment and taking care of the environment with renewable energy (solar panels and photovoltaic) and with a modern style and all the modern comforts but retaining its essence.
The living room is extended with a covered terrace where a huge garden with private pool, solarium, mini golf and barbecue area with the typical Fuerteventura wood oven is projected.
House Leandro is located in the middle of the valley of the municipality of Antigua where the village of Triquivijate is located, a small village with agricultural and livestock farming origins.
The municipality of Antigua is the central plain of Fuerteventura and has a cultural legacy that speaks of a past of splendour. Its town centre is a treasure trove of high historical and artistic value, which is reflected in its architecture. But if there is one thing that defines the landscape of Antigua, it is its windmills, which are silhouetted against the plain and whose blades, as in the past, are moved by the gentle and warm blow of the trade winds.
In Triquivijate you will find the horse riding centre and riding school Crines del Viento where they organise horse riding routes in the area.
There are also numerous walking trails to discover this part of the island.
And only 20 minutes away are the important tourist towns of Caleta Fuste and Salinas del Carmen.
