This timber clad shepherd’s hut is set in a private meadow surrounded by the open countryside, simply perfect for couples wanting to embrace a rural location within the National Park. The warming wood burner and spacious detached kitchen makes it a great base no matter what the season. A paradise for both walkers and cyclists, where you can head out and explore the Brecon Beacons, set on the Brecon Beacons way you can walk for miles, explore Talybont Reservoir, Waterfalls and Brecon Canal tow path. For cyclists a networks of country lanes that traverse the hillsides. There are activity centres that offer kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area. For more leisurely days out, there are some lovely market towns, steeped in history with bustling high streets, such as Hay-on-Wye (20 miles) known as the town of books, Crickhowell (9 miles) and Brecon (7 miles).
Peacefully tucked away within a mature meadow, the traditional hut is set to the rear, slightly elevated with views onto the surrounding countryside, the Hut offers the perfect space for a peaceful night’s rest with double French doors that open to the front, a cosy built in double bed, with a bespoke hand made cabinet with shelves, finished with a wooden pew that fronts a wood burning stove. Steps down from the hut into the meadow, along the stepping stones, lead to a detached barn conversion offering a great space for living, a well-equipped kitchen area with table and chairs along with a spacious shower and WC.
Outside you can relax with a picnic table that is perfect for summer dining, along with a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and stargazing.
