About this property

Nyth y Wennol, Aberaeron

Nyth y Wennol Cottage ('Swallow's Nest') is a superb Welsh country cottage and converted stone barn, set in a tranquil location and providing accommodation of a high standard for a relaxing holiday, whilst allowing you to explore the delights of this unspoilt area of Wales.

Nyth y Wennol is located on Cardigan Bay in the village of Llanarth, with its pub, post office, garden centre and Spar shop, and is less than 2 miles from New Quay with its pubs and other amenities.

The cottage is a comfortable base for exploring the West Wales coast - rocky headlands with sandy bays, secret coves and rock pools, seals and dolphins. New Quay also has lovely sandy beaches, ideal for children, and the locality offers more sandy beaches and inland areas of natural beauty.

There are plenty of things to see and do further afield: visit Aberystwyth and ride the Vale of Rheidol Railway to Devil's Bridge; find one of the many picturesque villages along Cardigan Bay, such as Llangrannog and Aberporth; or travel south to the Teifi Valley, Preseli Hills and Pembrokeshire.
