Dive into local maritime history at Charlestown (1.5 miles) before relishing a pub lunch near the harbour where the younger guests can enjoy crabbing off the pier. With its idyllic scenery and array of activities, Porthpean promises an unforgettable getaway. It’s found nestled in a tranquil location with a neighbouring cottage for two that can be booked separately for a larger group. Inside, spacious rooms encourage sociable gatherings. Upon entering through the front porch, a central hallway leads to the dining room on the left with a large antique dining table that comfortably seats eight guests. The living room is on the right with a Smart TV and ample seating surrounding the inviting wood burner, perfect for cherished moments together. A desk is placed in the bay window alcove overlooking the front garden providing a quiet workspace. The kitchen, equipped with a large range-style cooker, ensures delicious group meals can be prepared, and a door from here leads out to the rear garden area. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathroom offer comfort and charm. The super-king-size bedroom, with dual-aspect windows, boasts far-reaching sea views and a cosy bay window nook, ideal for unwinding whilst gazing out to sea. Both the double and twin rooms also enjoy lovely sea vistas. A shower room and separate cloakroom complete the first-floor amenities.
