This beautifully-restored historic cabin is so cozy! I particularly enjoyed the quiet mornings and evenings by the gas fireplace. Every amenity you could want is included, and everything is spotless. The hostess is incredibly kind and gracious; she has thought of every detail to make you feel welcome and the cabin feel like home.I stayed in winter, so the creek was frozen, but the backyard is beautiful nonetheless. Several deer were bedded down when I got up at sunrise…beautiful.
Great little cabin - so quiet and peaceful. Loved listening to the creek. Beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels were really soft! Loved our stay in Dubois!! Would go again.
This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It is right on the river and gives a secluded feel but is right in town. This was a great central location and we were able to visit yellowstone and Jackson without driving too much. The cabin was very clean and so beautiful. Great stay!
Clean, well-stocked, comfortable 2 bedroom place with large kitchen. Nice drive into Grand Teton. Patricia was a great hostess and communicated well. Would stay again.
We had a nice time. Had everything we needed. Within waking distance to everything downtown. The deer hanging out in the yard right next to window was fun!
Nice location. Very clean and roomy. Very muck enjoyed our stay. Watched Mule Deer grazing and resting right out in the yard. About 90 minutes to Yellowstone or Jackson Hole. 10 minutes to National Museum of Military Vehicles.
Spacious, clean, sound of the river outside your bedroom. The cabin was a great fit. The owner lives next door and was available for any questions, but she was so thorough that we didn’t need to contact her.
We loved this home and the property and the town. Patricia was awesome. It’s a bit far from the parks but such a quiet place to relax and see the stars. Walk to restaurants. Loved sleeping with the sound of the River flowing. Would return in a heartbeat.
What a terrific discovery! This place was just what we wanted for a comfy, nice spot central to places we wanted to go. Living next door, they were just the right amount of support with suggestions/info as needed. Terrific yard, lots of parking and a great layout - felt much bigger than what we thought from pictures. Nicely appointed, too. Couldn’t have been happier!
We stayed here to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The scenery was Majestic. There was no shortage of wildlife. Patricia’s house even better than expected. She was a t Al sweetheart. We had an issue with tv. She had it fixed in no time.
All very good except tv was a problem because it uses internet. Owner came and helped get it going when we experienced problems but problems kept reoccurring.
We really enjoyed our three night stay at this cabin on the creek. The owner who lived next door was very helpful, and gave us great ideas about scenic drives into the forest. Downtown dubois was a short walk away, where we picked up our made to order breakfast burritos in the morning. Having a full kitchen was awesome which was outfitted with a coffee maker, stove, and full-size fridge. Relaxing in the evening sitting by the rushing creek was nice and there is a small fire pit there where you can make s’mores. Overall, great location, and I told Pat, the owner, that we would definitely be back.
There just aren’t enough stars to properly rate this cabIn! From check-in to check out was just great! I am listing the review of this property room by room:
Living Room - beautiful huge picture window to view the numerous deer in the yard everyday!
Kitchen- I have stayed in several VRBO residences, but this one by far was the best stocked kitchen! You could actually check in and make a pot of coffee or tea without making a trip to the local grocery store! Plus a few basic stocked food items so you won’t starve to death if arriving late in the evening!
Bedrooms - really great comfortable bed and enough hangers in the closets to be able to hang all of your clothes! And really good quality hangers! Not the typical dry cleaners wire hangers!
Bathroom- Awesome and so well stocked! Great shower with rain head!! Beautiful bowl sink, and did I say towels galore?!
Utility Room- spacious and Well Stocked!
Outdoor area - plenty of parking and about 15 feet from the river!! Amazing! And a really nice outdoor grill!
General - Patricia lives right next door and responded to all requests in less than a minute!
