There’s cozy… and then there’s View Haven. This little retreat in the Great Cacapon area is exactly what it sounds like—a peaceful, private perch where views stretch wide and worries seem to shrink a bit. Perfect for solo getaways, couples’ weekends, or that much-needed recharge with your best friend (two- or four-legged).
Not every trip needs a crowd. Sometimes, it’s just you, your favorite person, and a quiet place to land.
Small footprint, big comfort
This spot was made for three—just enough room to stretch out without losing that snug, tucked-in feel.
✅ Master bedroom with a queen bed (and yes, the kind you can sleep like a rock in)
✅ Second bedroom with a twin bed—great for an extra guest, kiddo, or even just a reading nook with options
✅ One full bathroom with a shower—simple, clean, and just right for rinsing off after a day in the woods
The TV’s in the bedroom, so if winding down with a movie or watching a sleepy morning show in bed sounds like your style, you’re covered.
Kitchen ready, grill steady
Let’s be honest—half the fun of a mountain getaway is making your favorite meals with no rush, no pressure, and no takeout boxes (unless that’s your thing—zero judgment).
✅ Full service kitchen—stocked with the essentials, ready for anything from eggs-and-bacon mornings to pasta-by-starlight dinners
✅ Charcoal grill out back for those nights when food tastes better outdoors (because it always does)
✅ Small deck and yard—just enough outdoor space to sip, sit, or toss a ball around
And if the weather’s behaving? Dinner under the stars, fireflies blinking in the background—it’s kind of magical.
Perfect for outdoor lovers
If your idea of a good day starts with trail dust and ends with sore legs, View Haven might be your kind of place.
This home is a short drive to local hiking trails, fishing spots, river access, and scenic lookouts. The Great Cacapon area is full of hidden gems—whether you’re into kayaking, rock hopping, or just snapping photos of sunlit moss on tree trunks (we’ve been there).
There’s no campfire ring, but you can still roast marshmallows the old-fashioned way: over a grill with a little creativity and a lot of determination.
All the not-so-glamorous but very appreciated things
You don’t want to be halfway through a getaway and realize you forgot...everything. Luckily, we’ve got you covered on the comfort front:
✅ High-speed internet—stream, scroll, or work if you must
✅ Window A/C and baseboard heat—keeps the seasons at bay
✅ Private driveway + free parking
✅ Pet-friendly for up to 2 pups (just a heads up—$40 per pet, per stay)
The home’s private, quiet, and totally yours while you’re here. No shared spaces. No surprises.
Just one more thing...
View Haven isn’t flashy. It doesn’t need to be. It’s that just-right kind of quiet that gives your brain a break and your heart a bit of space to expand. Whether you’re chasing trails, bringing your pup along for a change of scenery, or simply needing a weekend with no obligations—this is your soft place to land.
So go ahead. Pack light, breathe deep, and head for the hills.
We’ll leave the porch light on.
