About this property
Coach House Totnes: Natural Luxe
Coach House, sympathetically renovated in collaboration with a respected interior designer, is situated centrally in the beautiful, vibrant and historic town of Totnes in South Devon.
It is ideally located between Dartmoor National Park and some of the county’s most beautiful beaches, both are within just a few miles. Sitting on the picturesque River Dart, Totnes has a thriving community, full of boutique & independent shops, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and markets all within walking distance.
Coach House is the perfect place to relax and truly unwind in luxurious surroundings, the soft tones and natural materials bring a contemporary elegance to the interiors, which have been designed with the comfort of our guests in mind.
Entry is via a private entrance into a contemporary lobby area within the lounge.
The light filled lounge incorporates a desk area, reading nook and sofa that can be utilised as a double sofa bed if required.
A widescreen Smart TV allows you to login to access your favourite series and films.
Herringbone oak floors, under heated, flow throughout the space.
On this level are located the utility room with washing machine and dryer, and the luxurious principle shower room with rain shower, eco spa products and WC.
From the lounge, the stairs lead to the upper floor where there is an open plan kitchen and dining area.
Under heated herringbone oak floors also flow throughout the upper level.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required and includes a dishwasher, the dining area is set with a round dining table lit with natural light from above.
Also on this upper level, are located the sumptuous double bedroom and a secondary shower room with WC.
The bedroom has a beautifully comfortable double bed with feature headboard and lighting.
The bed can be split to make a twin room if required.
Within the bedroom there is a dressing area with an ottoman and vanity mirror.
Coach House is west facing with views of the castle from the upper floor, all spaces have good natural light.
There is also plenty of storage and fast wifi internet coverage throughout the property.
From the Coach House all the amenities of Totnes, the independent shops, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, pubs and markets are within a short walking distance. Totnes mainline train station is a simple 5-10 minute walk.
To explore further afield, local attractions include the River Dart and Dartmouth, cultural and arts centre Dartington Hall and Gardens, Agatha Christies’ Greenway House, Dittisham, Tuckenhay, and Salcombe.
Dartmoor National Park is approximately 15 miles away and some of the best sections of the South West Coast Path are around the same distance. Beach recommendations: Bantham and Burgh Island, Bigbury, South Milton, Salcombe, and Blackpool Sands.
