It features 22 stunning individual properties as well as the historic and beautiful Broughton Hall itself, which dates back to 1097, having been in the same family for 900 years.

The Home
It may not be located in the hundred acre wood, but it certainly wouldn’t look out of place in a Winnie the Pooh storybook, and you’ll see exactly the charm we mean as soon as you arrive at Sycamore Lodge, a wonderful small house located in the picturesque grounds of the Broughton Estate.

With its own private garden and its proximity to idyllic woods and the nature reserve, you’ll be forgiven for imagining yourself in an Enid Blyton novel.

With 2 spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests, there’s plenty of room here for a romantic relaxing country getaway or a peaceful walking holiday with friends. Walking and cycling routes certainly won’t be difficult to come across as you find yourself on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and if you decide to bring your furry friends with you to enjoy the country air then don’t worry, we love pets and are a pet friendly holiday.
