Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, gravelled area, decking, furniture, summer house, pond, and hot tub, and private driveway parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop in 1.8 miles and a pub within 1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory: The Dartmoor Line now operates a service between Okehampton and Exeter every hour, 7 days a week. The town also has access to fabulous walks and Simmons Park where you’ll find a children’s adventure playground.
