Burton House in Burton-in-Lonsdale is character cottage which has four bedrooms including a second-floor king-size with TV and en-suite with freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin, towel rail and WC, a twin, a king-size with en-suite with walk-in shower, basin, towel rail and WC and a bunk bedroom as well as a family bathroom with a roll-top bath, walk-in shower, basin, towel rail and WC. The kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and seating for eight people. There is also a separate dining room, a sitting room with woodburning stove and Smart TV, an office and a basement games room. WiFI, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Outside, there is roadside parking and a rear patio garden. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.4 miles, pub 0.4 miles. Note: There are stone steps leading down to the basement so please bear this in mind when booking. Burton House offers surprisingly spacious character accommodation close to an excellent range of amenities and activities.

Burton in Lonsdale offers a shop with a post office counter, and also a welcoming pub. There are several 'undiscovered' quiet walks around the village and more popular walks such as the Three Peaks and Ingleton Waterfalls Walk within easy reach. Places of interest close by include Kirkby Lonsdale, Ingleton and Settle, while this is also an ideal base for exploring the Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.
