About the host
Hosted by Vanessa Mcnair

I’m a born Londoner now living in Beaconsfield, Bucks UK with my husband. Between us we have five kids (all adults) and three beautiful grandchildren. We love to travel, we’ve been lucky enough to both travel extensively with our jobs in the past. I enjoy wild swimming and cooking whilst Andy enjoys renovating houses and eating!
Why they chose this property
Beaconsfield is a market town located in beautiful Buckinghamshire, UK, 27 miles from London and 17 miles from London Heathrow Airport.
It’s well known for its picturesque setting, historic buildings and affluent community.
Beaconsfield is divided into the Old Town and the New Town. The Old town with its Georgian and Tudor architecture, exudes historic charm, while the New Town offers the most modern amenities including a very fast, efficient train service to central London, Oxford and Birmingham.
Both the New and Old Towns have a great selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, tea rooms.

What makes this property unique
Although we are within striking distance from the vibrant hub of London, we are also surrounded by beautiful open green, peaceful spaces. Plenty of parks, fields, walking, hiking and cycling routes so remember to bring your boots and your bike!
The apartment is unique in that it has a utility room with an opening light well opposite the kitchen. It’s a great, versatile space and can be set up as a dedicated, quiet office, a nursery, storage space or just a plain utility room. Having this added room means you don’t need to be on top of your travel bags and all that stuff.
