About this property

Perfect country get away. Ideal for families. Can be rented alone or with our other property onsite to allow for bigger groups. Lovely local towns, larger cities only 15 mins away. 1 hour from Caen port and only 1 hour from beaches and major attractions.
Great location for cycling, walking, golfing, sight seeing. Great local restaurants around and in the cities.
This holiday home has been renovated to a high standard (July 2024) with full kitchen and access to a bbq / smoker and fire pit (fire pit upon request) along with plenty of seating areas outside.

Surrounded by fields to 3 sides, set off the main road by way of a small chemin along with a small village hall in front. 2 neighbours who are not close at all.

Bedrooms are ensuites on the 2nd floor. Sofa bed available downstairs.
Tw bedrooms have standard french sized double beds and the other room has two standard sized single beds with the sofa bed downstairs. All ensuites. No bath.

Andy and I love being in France. The live and the way of living is perfect for us. Although running two properties to let and renovating another is hard work.
We really enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. Helping them with where to visit and what to do along with providing everything they could need in our homes.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area as its quiet. Plus so close to amenities - 10 minute drive. Larger cities are only 15-20 minutes away and for ease of getting here we are only 1 hour from the port of Caen a few hours from Dieppe and about 4.5 from Calais.
Airports near us are Nantes and Rennes. Train stations are also only 20 minutes away.
The location is perfect for people who wish to go on walking, bike trails or to visit many of the local attractions such as St Malo, Mont St Michel and of course the beaches. Not forgetting the DDay landings.

What makes this property unique

Located off of the main road (set back) with 3 sides of the house surrounded by fields. Close enough but far enough away from everything.
