About this property
Haloft (Brancaster), Brancaster, Norfolk
The perfect coastal bolt hole, just made for two - or indeed just one! Grab a chance to escape from your daily routine, kick back and breathe in some fresh sea air. A mini or longer break at this charming petite retreat in the popular seaside village Brancaster, at any time of the year, will do the trick.
Fully refurbished in 2024, Hayloft is a bijou delight and, with a smart use of space, provides everything you might need to 'slow you down' and enjoy your stay. With warmth provided by underfloor heating on the ground floor, the entrance door takes you straight into the kitchen. Completely refitted and bang up to date, it is undeniably on the compact side but you will find you it caters for all your needs. The anteroom next door allows extra space for storage, and a spot for coats and boots. You will also be pleased to see a tall fridge with a large icebox. Two doors lead off this room; a dual aspect dining room with colourful soft furnishings, and a bathroom with a laundry cupboard housing a washer/dryer. From the dining area, a return stairway leads up to the open-plan first floor. A sitting room greets you on the left side of the room where you can relax, read or watch the Smart television and, when it's time to call it a day, a vaulted restful bedroom with an inviting king-size bed awaits you on the right.
Outside of the cottage, within the shared courtyard garden is a designated seating area for Hayloft guests, with a bistro table and chairs. It's a lovely outdoor option for greeting the day with a morning coffee from the Nespresso machine, and a chance to take a moment to plan the day ahead, as well as share a sundowner at the end of the day and mull over the day's events.
At the far end of the courtyard is Mill House Cottage which sleeps four, and can be booked in conjunction with Hayloft if both cottages are free. The cottages can be booked separately or together for larger groups wanting a bit of extra space.
Additional Information:
Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
Synthetic pillows and duvet.
The courtyard garden is shared with Mill House Cottage.
Please bring your own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine.
