Sleeping up to six guests the cottage is perfectly situated for exploring both the East Yorkshire Coastline, inviting guests to discover the popular seaside towns and villages such as Filey or head inland to the ancient city of York a 30 minute drive west. It is safe to say there is something for all ages not far from the cottage doorstep; a days hiking followed by a relaxing meal in the local pub, York Railway Museum with the grandchildren or a day at Beverley Races is sure to be on your list.
This Visit England Gold award winning cottage, boasts traditional features including a wood burning stove, delightful conservatory and a rose garden, this cottage will without doubt instantly make guests feel at home offering the warmest of welcomes from the moment you step foot into the farmhouse style kitchen and dining area leading through to; the main sitting room with comfortable seating flanking the wood burning stove, conservatory over looking the well kept garden and further reading room perfect for enjoying board games with family and friends.
The first floor offers a choice of two spacious super-king size bedrooms each with double aspect windows and a further twin bedroom, all complemented by two family bathrooms, one of which with it's very own freestanding roll-top bath, perfect for a relaxing soak in this peaceful location.
Rose Cottage is surrounded by a fully enclosed garden laid to lawn with the most stunning roses and established boarders to enjoy throughout the summer months, patio area adjacent to the conservatory with garden furniture seating six guests seeking al fresco dining cooked on the barbecue and further patio to the rear via the kitchen French doors ideal for enjoying morning coffee in peace and quiet.
