Hired the hut for a long weekend at the beginning of December. Ideal location for Christmas shopping in Cambridge.
Very cosy and warm. Would definitely recommend.

About the host
Hosted by David Jessop
Hello! We’re Louise and David, and in 2022 we were mad enough to buy a Grade II listed little thatched cottage in need of a *lot* of work.
We moved in at the beginning of 2023 and began a lifelong project of restoring the cottage and garden. It’s still very much a work in progress, so please excuse us if it’s looking a bit scruffy around the edges!
We’re thrilled that you chose to stay with us - every stay in the hut helps support our work. Thank you!
Why they chose this property
Histon is a thriving community with a quaint village feel, but only a stone's throw from central Cambridge.

You have a chic, cosy interior looking out over fields behind, as well as your own private garden space, yet it's still an easy cycle into central Cambridge or further afield. Bicycles are provided free of charge, and there's a regular bus and free parking onsite.
