About this property
Beachfront Villa close to Kite Surf with BBQ, Garden and Seaview
Quiet seaside villa, the ultimate “toes in the water” getaway for one or two families. This grand traditional Parian home is located right at the seafront, facing Antiparos island and offers dreamy sunset views. A short walk down the garden path will take you to a small secluded beach which is only known by the locals. Lovely jogging or walking path alongside the sea, a nature lovers paradise. Immerse yourself in the true Parian summer, sleeping in this villa you will only listen to the gentle sound of the waves and the cicada serenades.
The Space
Entering through the main door from the large parking area at the back of the property you arrive at the entrance hall where you can drop your beach gear. In front of you is the spacious and light-filled living room with the kitchen adjacent.
On your right is a corridor leading to one of the double bedrooms featuring a queen-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table with a mirror. There is also a single bed suitable for a child or it can be used as a comfy couch with pillows if only a couple are occupying the room. The balcony doors open to the front terrace and there is ever-changing sea views to admire from your bed.
The corridor opens up to another twin room, ideal for 2 children, with wardrobes and access to the front terrace with direct sea views. There is a bathroom that serves these two rooms with a shower and a washing machine.
If you make your way towards the living room, it opens up to a light and airy space, featuring a seating area and a large dining table. There are multiple balcony doors opening up to the front sea view terrace, just a couple of meters from the sea. The kitchen is separated from the living room only by a higher cupboard and is perfectly equipped with pots and pans, cutlery and crockery to make meals when you do not feel like going out or are simply captivated by the evening serenity and sky-gazing opportunities.. There is an electric 4 burner cooker, an oven, a microwave oven and a fridge freezer.
Another bedroom opens from the kitchen, ideal for two children or a single person, equipped with a pull-out sofa bed, becoming two standard single beds. This bedroom has got an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
From the living room, a staircase leads to the top floor that is occupied by another double-bedroom suite. This room features a queen size bed, wardrobes, and a dressing table with a mirror and offers fantastic romantic opportunities for admiring the setting moon, and its picturesque reflection on the water, directly from your bed in the early hours. There is access to two private terraces through balcony doors, the front terrace facing the sea and the side terrace also with sea views.
The house is laid out in a way which offers a natural divide into two wings through the living room: the side wing of the property with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom can house one family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) and the other side with the twin room opening from the kitchen and the double bedroom upstairs can host another family (2 adults and 2 children), making it an ideal solution if two friendly families are sharing this villa.
The outside space consists of a large garden, with plenty of parking space at the entrance, and a large terrace that wraps around the villa with fantastic sailing boat parade in the daytime and sunset, star-gazing and moon setting observations at later hours.
The Neighborhood
Kampos is a small village on the southwest of Paros, the house is located on the seaside part of the village, which is a residential area characterised by large Cycladic houses with gardens and olive trees around. A small local beach is only 180 m from the villa with some tamarisk trees for shade and crystal-clear water. It is never too choppyhere as this is the channel between Paros and Antiparos where the water is shallow and calm. The small chapel of Agios Nikolaos on the seafront is another 7-8 minutes walk away and a small bay harbouring fishing boats is 800 m from the house and can be used to moore a boat if you would like to rent one. The village of Kambos is characterised of small traditional houses connected by winding streets, gardens and wheat fields around. There is a village shop, a kind of “sells it all “(“pantopolio” in Greek) only 1300 m from the house, this is the centre of the village. Alyki is a popular village with excellent taverns, great beaches, supermarkets, an excellent bakery and some other shops only 5 minute’s drive or a short bike ride away. Parikia, the capital of Paros with its ancient agora, the archaeological museum and much more will take about 15 minutes to reach by car or you can use the bus service which should be about half an hour. Naoussa the party capital of the island and its chick boutiques are also within easy reach, the drive will be a mere half an hour.

About the host
Your host

A keen traveller, of partial Paros origin, now living in the UK but spending every single Summer on Paros. Familiar with every Parian corner, a key sunset spotter/amateur photographer, and Summer sport lover, I particularly enjoy the tranquil side facing Antiparos with its wonderful blending of sea, sun, night skies, nature and sea-sport options. Just joined VRBO with my upgraded beach villa, I truly hope you try it out -- you won't regret it!
