About the property
With a rich history spanning centuries gone by, this carefully-renovated retreat is flush with luxury and edged with period charm. Open stone walls and vaulted oak-beamed ceilings lend an insight to the home's ancient past, while a sultry scheme of teal and indigo create the perfect setting in which to unwind and relish some respite from life's routines. From the sleek open-plan kitchen-living area to the sumptuous bedroom and spa-like bathroom, this place is lavishly appointed throughout - and the outdoor space is equally impressive. Entirely private with direct access to a wealth of woodland walks, your outdoor oasis is fully equipped with a pizza oven, wood burning stove, outdoor kitchen and a wood-fired Dutch tub. What more could you wish for?
The space
Framed by an awe-inspiring backdrop of luscious farmland and greenery, this beautiful bolthole welcomes guests to revel in the never-ending wonders of the Somerset countryside - and when it comes to the home itself, you're sure to be equally enamoured.
Originally constructed in the 17th century, this period property impresses with an ancient stone facade and sleek details. The character of the place has been perfectly retained, and as we make our way inside, we are met with the most beautiful restoration.
Brought to life by an opulent palette of rich teal and slick black accents, despite its rich history, there's nothing traditional about this home. Oak beamed vaulted ceilings reflect chronicles of yesteryear, meanwhile open stone walls kindly contrast the modern aesthetic.
Hungry for a tasty bite? Make a beeline for the kitchen. Fully equipped with a wine chiller, plate warmer and Quooker tap, it presents the ideal spot in which to rustle up a feast. Suitably satisfied? Indulge in a moment's downtime in the living area before changing into your swimwear and enjoying a long, hot soak in the wood-fired Dutch tub. With panoramic views of the unspoilt countryside beyond, you couldn't dream of a more idyllic spot to unwind.
Peeling yourself away from the splendour of your private tub may prove a challenge, but the prospect of your sprawling super-king-size bed might make it that little bit easier. Opposed by a wall-mounted TV, retreat here when the day is done for some easy viewing and an undisrupted night's sleep.
Shared facilities
As if your uniquely luxurious living quarters weren't enough already, your home-from-home also affords an extensive list of facilities to enjoy at your leisure. With a vision to enrich the body and mind, guests are invited to make use of the 20m indoor heated pool and indulge in a blissful moment in the steam room and sauna. Catering to all your wellness needs, the farm also boasts a fully-equipped contemporary gym and revitalising bucket shower.
For the nature enthusiasts, unrestricted access to 18 acres of breathtaking grounds and woodland walks is sure to raise a smile, meanwhile budding wine connoisseurs are encouraged to indulge in a spot of wine tasting at our local vineyard. The opportunity to hire a private chef pledges to make your stay all the more magical, meanwhile an array of event spaces and complimentary access to a private car park complete with electric vehicle charging points is also available.
And finally, for any animal lovers staying at the farm, a visit to our Pygmy Goat enclosure is an absolute must. Friendly, intelligent and absolutely adorable, these miniature residents will be delighted to meet you.
Guest access
Upon arrival to the farm, proceed up the cobbled drive to the electric gates and press the intercom button. The owners will open the gates and then greet you in the car park and show you into the property.
