Your own hideaway 7 mins walk from the seaside, train station & hub of Penzance
Relax in your own spacious apartment with it's own entrance into a south facing courtyard with outdoor table & chairs, a suntrap by day and where you can enjoy the Cornish stars at night. After a day at the beach or in the vibrant town of Penzance, you can come home to a peaceful space of your own, which includes a separate kitchen, bathroom with shower, lounge and dining area with natural stone wall and window seat looking over the courtyard. The lounge leads to a split level mezzanine double bedroom. You can access parking on the street around Penare Terrace or take the train as there are many beautiful places to discover in walking distance. For eg. St Michael's Mount, a leisurely walk along the coastal path stopping at beach cafes enroute overlooking the sea. You can catch the Coaster open-top bus around Cornwall for £5 for the day and visit Mousehole, St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lands End etc. We are very happy to make suggestions regarding the fabulous array of cafes and restaurants available nearby and give you our 1-10 of the best local pasties or Cornish cream teas if you'd like to test them out for yourself! This is a great place for exploring what Cornwall has to offer and a home away from home to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Nice little flat with easy access everywhere, just a but difficult to park at times but not always, the host kindly gave me their parking space when I was struggling:) otherwise just clean and comfortable with amazing hosts:)
Jill and her husband were really helpful during our stay. We were cold the first night and they come by the next day to teach us how to use the heater and gave us extra blanket. It’s a really nice and cozy place, well taken care of and really great location near the train station. There is so many cats in the neighborhood and they are so friendly. Jill’s dog Alfie is a lovely gentleman too. Would highly recommend this place!!

Why they chose this property
We love Penzance as a quirky seaside town with lots of character, great base for exploring West Cornwall, easy access to the sea. Penzance itself has many colourful cafes, restaurants and pubs including live music venues. Our flat is walking distance to the coach and train station where you can also grab the open top Coaster bus and explore the coastal towns including St Ives and Carbis Bay. We also are close to St Michaels Mount, Mousehole, Minnack Theatre, Lands End and plenty of stunning coves and beaches. Endless coastal paths to explore and nearby woods like Trevaylor which is completely stunning. Also make sure you visit Tremenherre Sculpture Gardens and try their freshly baked Cornish cream tea. Great place to stay before heading to Scilly Isles as walking distance to the ferry boat. We've left plenty of personal tips re sunny and rainy day suggestions we recommend while you're here including what we've rated 1-10 of the local Cornish pasties!
What makes this property unique
It is a spacious, centrally located flat with its own sun trap courtyard by day and starry sky by night with festoon lights for an evening dinner or quiet drink outdoors. The flat itself is very cosy and comfortable with great ambience and also has a spacious kitchen if you'd prefer to self cater. We're very happy to provide breakfast if you'd like to make a request for this.
