About this property
Frankland House - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
Frankland House is a lovely 3 bedroom town house in the centre of Emsworth village
This charming spacious town house in the centre of Emsworth couldn't be a better spot to holiday close to the water thorough out the year.
Entering the house through the front door straight into the hallway leading to the large triple aspect sitting room, with smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen has been well equipped to comfortably self cater for your stay including coffee maker, coffee pot, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer and toaster. The hosts have also provided a washing machine, clothes airer an iron and ironing board. There is a dining room opposite the kitchen you can sit and enjoy whatever delights you have whipped up in the kitchen or enjoy a takeout from one of the local restaurants or takeaways. There is also a ground floor WC.
Up to the first floor there is a master double room with and en suite bathroom, a further single room and to the front there is a lovely double aspect double room. The family bathroom is also on the first floor with a shower cubicle.
Outside there is a pretty courtyard garden to the rear with seating and a second courtyard garden to the side where the owners have supplied a barbecue. There is one allocated parking space available for guests to use.
The hosts at Frankland House will accept one well behaved dog.
This really is a lovely place to visit at any time of the year.
Frankland House is situated in the very centre of Emsworth which is a lovely village right on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the shore within moments around The Mill Pond. The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms is within walking distance too.
For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.
Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making Nile Street the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
