About this property
Labrador Lodge - a beautiful barn conversion sleeping two guests
Located down a long private woodland road, Labrador Lodge offers tranquillity in a unique setting.
Step through the door into a beautiful well thought out open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. Cosy up on the sofa and enjoy your favourite film or get lost in a book whilst being surrounded by beautiful modern furnishings and décor that blend to give a country chic feel with a unique rural edge. Full height windows dominate the rear wall, flooding the natural light through and allowing uninterrupted views through the woodland. The skilfully crafted kitchen area is well-equipped for even the keenest chef and the dining table is well placed at the window to make the most of the woodland location. The bedroom is tastefully furnished with a bespoke king-size bed, beautiful linens, built-in storage, baskets and hanging space for clothes; and leads through to a modern en-suite shower room. Outside, the rear patio is furnished with a table and chairs looking out to the woodland and is an ideal space for a morning coffee whilst listening to the birdsong or after dinner drinks in the warmer months.
Charming Marlborough town centre with its unique and bustling high street with independent shopping and many restaurants and pubs (including Rick Stein's) is just 6 miles away. A little further, Newbury with its famous racecourse, plenty of shops and a large cinema is 19 miles away. And dog walkers or keen cyclists can head to Salisbury plain, just a short drive away.
Additional Information:
One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge).
Please restrict your dog to the sitting room, kitchen and hallway and do not leave them unsupervised in the property. Thank you in advance.
Sorry, no children, however an infant is welcome (please provide your own infant equipment).
The bedding is non-feather.
