THE MEADOWS HIDEAWAY - SECLUDED, INVITING 2 BR (with no stairs)
A peaceful and private getaway on 3+ acres in a small country neighborhood. This lovely place sits on a private lane just off 291 Highway and is just 1½ miles from access to I-49 making it quick and easy to enjoy all the amenities of the Kansas City Area; then retire from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This upscale lodging is well-lit, tastefully and comfortably furnished, suitable for the businessman needing a quiet place to work, a couple on a romantic getaway or the family on holiday.

The wood burning brick fireplace, the focal point of the roomy living area, allows you to enjoy a cozy fire while fixing dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. (Wood for a fire is provided.) We have beautiful woodwork throughout and comfortable leather living room furniture.

You will be tempted outside by the shady patio surrounded by lush ferns, tropical flowers and plants where you will enjoy the breezes in the Spring, Summer or Fall. You will have lots of birds & squirrels to watch; you can listen to the cows’ moo, see an occasional deer and now & then a fox.

Three minutes away in the small town of Harrisonville you will find everything you need at the local Walmart or the farm & home store. There is a great coffee shop, a new B&B Movie Theater, a beautiful park as well as several restaurants.

We have board games, card games, books to read, DVD and Satellite movies to watch, badminton, soccer, Frisbee, 2 large TV’s with 150+ channels, a private lane to walk, and we can point you to the local bike trails as well as the nearby Katy Trail. If you enjoy riding bikes, we may recruit you to ride with our local biking group. If there is something else you enjoy, ask! We may have that also.

Come stay with us; you won’t be disappointed. We will greet you with a waffle mix and bacon for breakfast. There will be special seasonal decorations. We are sooo looking forward to making your stay a special one.

(We have an attractive weekly rate that is more affordable than our daily rate, but only one breakfast is provided.)

Our guest quarters are part of our home. It is 1000 square feet of completely private space. We enter on one side of the house and the entrance to the guest quarters is on the opposite side of the house. The facility has a completely separate parking area, a private patio and its own yard space. We have added some sound deadening insulation but you may hear some people noises. This is a completely private space, and we have worked hard to make it a comfortable and peaceful get-away.

Great place.

We have rented this place for the past 4 years in November and I can’t say enough good things about it. It in the perfect location next to Harrisonville if you need anything But the host are so nice and we absolutely love this place.

Adorable Little Hideaway

The little hideaway was absolutely beautiful. The waffle mix, bacon and juice was a pleasant surprise and delicious! We opted to cook it for supper! Communication with Deb was wonderful! Very clean, enough room for our group. Only thing that would make it any better would be having a washer and dryer.

Harrisonville Wrestling Tourney Getaway

This location was completely amazing!! From the moment we opened the door, the inviting feel was all around! Quiet Retreat

This place was very clean and had everything you could think of, it was obvious the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this spot well equipped. Deborah was very attentive and accommodating, letting us come a day early at the last minute.

Very nice rental with many extra amenities. My girls enjoyed the toys that were provided. Breakfast and the fruit bowl were both very nice extras. Beds were very comfortable. Only disappointment was the water pressure in the shower was weak. We will stay again if we are ever in the area!

My wife, child and I have had fun in KC over many trips. We were looking for something more relaxing. If your looking for a slower more relaxed environment and still be close to town, this is the place. The owners were down to earth and made our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend it.

Spacious & Convenient

This property was located close by to an event we had. It worked out as a perfect location for coming and going when needed. It has everything you need for your kitchen & cooking needs. Homemade waffle mix & bacon were provided along with Orange Juice. It is in a nice quiet rural road and made sleeping easy. Owner was great with communication and very helpful for our needs. I look forward to coming back next year when we have the same event to attend.

Absolutely amazing

It was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. My 13 year old used the bunk bed and loved it. She is 5'7. We couldn't find a lighter for the fireplace so I sent a text. In 2 minutes they were knocking on the door with one. I did more cooking there than most probably. If you're planning to do that bring a few pans as there's not much there.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. We are a tv show that sponsors disabled vets to hunt in MO. We rent a VRbo every year and by far this is the best one yet. We will return for sure. The host was very accommodating to us. Just fantastic is all I can say. We look forward to staying there again.

Cozy and comfy

This was perfect a place to stay for my senior parents and I during my sister’s wedding weekend. The amenities were great (coffee and breakfast items, towels, linens, everything you could need) so we didn’t have to just rush to the store after our arrival. This place was so, so clean and comfortable and we loved the cute Halloween decorations. I would definitely recommend this over any of the hotels in Harrisonville!

Tranquil and Top of the Line Accommodations

You will lack for nothing in this accommodation. Our hosts thought of everything. They even supplied us with our breakfast needs. It was extremely clean and very restful. There was a back patio we were able to enjoy a cocktail on. Beds were very comfortable with tons of pillows. Debbie had it so cutely decorated for fall and Halloween. This is our second visit to this VRBO, and we would come again. Top rate place to stay.

Little slice of heaven with the best host you could ask for.

This place is a perfect mix of country yet close enough to the city. Super comfortable and had anything we could have ever needed. They were even kind enough to leave toys for our girls before we arrived. I really could not put into words how thankful I am for such a kind and caring host. After both of my kiddos and husband got sick she extend our checkout and even offered a discount if we needed to extend our stay. I will most definitely be staying here again when visiting family.
