Auchenlarie Courtyard cottage No 5 is a single storey stone cottage set in a beautifully renovated farm steading. Located in the heart of Galloway, just a stone's throw away from picturesque Wigtown Bay and some of the finest scenery in Scotland.

Situated directly opposite the owner's family run Holiday Park, the cottage is perfectly located to enjoy all that the park offers, including first-rate fitness facilities, captivating live performances in the Starlight Suite, and delightful dining establishments at both the Tide & Table Restaurant and Tides Takeaway.
The spacious and contemporary design offers open-plan living space which seamlessly transitions to external decking, complete with an inviting outdoor hot tub, providing the perfect setting for family breaks and special occasions year-round. Additionally, this cottage is pet-friendly, making it an ideal choice for families with furry companions.

This cottage serves as the ideal base from which to explore the captivating attractions of Dumfries and Galloway. With its proximity to Kirroughtree Forest, avid walkers and mountain bikers will find an abundance of trails to indulge their outdoor pursuits.

Within a short drive is Gatehouse of Fleet; the town is a popular tourist destination with many excellent cafes and hotels together with access to the wonderful "Bluebell" Cally Estate woodlands. Slightly further is the ‘Artist Town' of Kirkcudbright with its connections to the ‘Glasgow Boys' and Girls', the town is a thriving centre for arts and crafts and is home to numerous private galleries and the public Kirkcudbright Galleries which hosts a wide range of exhibitions. The town is also home to a working harbour and local fishing fleet, the Dark Sky Gin Distillery, next to which you will discover the Dark Sky Planetarium, a state of the art, interactive space themed experience which is well worth a visit and learn about our night skies. If History is your thing the NTS property Broughton House home of the artist E.A Hornel along with its Japanese inspired garden is located on the High Street, with MacLellan's Castle holding court over the town. The Summer Festivities Committee run a full and varied programme of events throughout most of the year including a Jazz Festival, popular Scottish Nights, a Tattoo, Country Fair and an Arts & Crafts trail throughout the summer months and a Fringe Festival and a Festival of Light held in the autumn.
