Excellent location
The location is perfect for relaxing with the beach and several restaurants nearby, and easy day trips to Cadiz, Jerez and towns along the coast (though a car is definitely helpful). The apartment itself is comfortable and reasonably spacious in the dining/living area though the kitchen is awkward and limited for much cooking. We found the bed in the master bedroom to be very uncomfortable - sinking in the middle and with nothing but a crinkly plastic cover under the sheet. The view pictured is a bit misleading. You can see the port, but most of what you see from the balcony are unfinished buildings and we had the misfortune to experience the dust and noise from the demolition of two of them while we were there. Communication with the host is excellent - responsive and helpful.

Ideal para unos días de descanso.
Un lugar muy tranquilo donde se esta muy agusto . El apartamento es muy coqueto y tiene absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar. Te sientes en el cómo en casa. La terraza tiene unas preciosas vistas al Puerto deportivo y está a 5 minutos andando de la playa de la Muralla por un agradable paseo pegado al mar. El recibimiento por parte de Susana estupendo.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung direkt im Hafen von Puerto Sherry
Die Ferienwohnung hat einen tollen Schnitt und ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter kamen bzgl. der Schlüsselübergabe persönlich vorbei und haben uns bei dieser Gelegenheit gleich Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Was uns bei der Buchung nicht ganz bewusst war, dass die Wohnanlage wirklich Teil des Hafens ist. Man ist also nicht zentrumnah untergebracht und benötigt, sobald man den Hafen verlassen möchte, einen Mietwagen. Des Weiteren gibt es im Hafen leider jede Menge an Bauruinen, aber das muss nicht zwingend störend sein. Es gibt nette Restaurants und Bars gleich um die Ecke, jedoch spricht das Personal so gut wie gar kein Englisch, d.h fast ausschließlich nur Spanisch. Zudem -für uns von Vorteil - gibt es kaum ausländische Touristen. Der Ort ist fest in spanischer Hand. Wir empfanden dies als sehr angenehm, aber das ist natürlich nicht jedermanns Sache. Das Appartment eignet sich sehr gut für Ruhe suchende Urlauber, die die Abendstunden gerne lärmfrei und entspannt bei schöner Aussicht auf den Hafen verbringen möchten. Die Restaurants und Bars sind leider im Juni noch sehr gering frequentiert, da die Ferienzeit der Spanier erst im Juli/August beginnt. Dafür sind die Preise sehr moderat! Ein gutes Glas Wein ist für 2 EUR zu haben! Wir haben den Urlaub dort sehr genossen.
