My family spent two weeks in Villa Ivana this july, and had a wonderful time, The villa itself is even better than it seems in the pictures - lots of space both inside and outside, well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture inside and outside, We spent a lot of time in and around the pool, and the shaded outside dining table is perfect for morning coffee and breaks from the sun, Everything was clean and tidy, the wifi good and stable (an important issue when you travel with two teenage boys) and communication with the owner and the agency was good - every question was answered quickly, The villa is secluded, which was what we were looking for, It is about 4 km to Korcula town, but there is a small shop just a stone's throw away for daily fresh bread and other essentials, There is also a small, very good restaurant just across the street, We chose not to rent a car, The taxi driver who drove us from the ferry to the villa left his number, and we called him directly every time we wanted to go into town or to a beach, Taxis are plentiful and cheap, It worked out perfectly for us, but if you want to see more of the island or be more independent, I would recommend renting a car, I give Villa Ivana my best recommendations and hope we will come back some time in the future, Best regards from Norwegian family Enersen/Bassøe,
