Several walking books are provided in the property covering the local area which has some great villages, local attractions, walks and landscapes. Please enjoy these but put them back on the top shelf after use so other guests can enjoy these. Please note there will be a minimum of £50 fine per book (depending upon the book) if any of these are taken from the property and not put back before you leave. You can also research walks via various apps (AllTrails, Komoot, MapMyWalk etc) lots of which are free.

Log Burner / Multi-Fuel Stove:
If you use the multi-fuel stove, please do so responsibly. There are detailed instructions for how to do so provided in a welcome guide which you will find in the property.

Lovely cottage, has everything you need!

I enjoyed a short stay here, with my two children and black Labrador, while exploring the Peak district during half term. Great location for getting to many nearby sights. Warm and cosy cottage. Clean throughout. Lovely big dining table. I was a little surprised at the hefty damage deposit required, this did make me feel a bit nervous about touching anything during our stay! Aside from that all was fine, thank you for a lovely getaway.
