About this property
Yr Hal, Llangrannog - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 5
Yr Hal is only a 3-minute walk to the beach in Llangrannog. One of the oldest cottages in the village, the whitewashed stone walls and original timber beams add charm to the lovely cottage.
Located in a quiet part of the lower village, next to Nant Hawen, the brook that runs through the village to the sea, Yr Hal has a lawned garden which is perfect for al fresco dining in the evening sun after a day at the beach.
The seaside village of Llangrannog boasts 2 pubs serving meals, a café, a restaurant, a fish and chip shop and an award-winning pizza takeaway. Llangrannog Beach is popular for watersports including surfing, paddleboarding and sailing.
There are 2 sandy beaches that are popular with families, surfers or just for relaxing and watching the world go by. From the main beach, it is possible to walk round to the second beach, Cilborth, at low tide, and here you can spot the incredible bottlenose dolphins that reside in the bay.
Close to Llangrannog are other great places worth visiting. From the tiny village of Tresaith, the famous fishing harbour of New Quay, where you can tour the bay by boat, and the colourful Georgian town of Aberaeron, which is full of charm.
