Stablehurst Cottage is a serene retreat in the heart of the Sussex countryside, recently renovated to offer a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The cottage features two beautifully appointed bedrooms—one on the ground floor with king size bed and easy accessibility and another upstairs with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with showers and luxurious Egyptian cotton towels.
The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals with everything you need, while the separate dining room provides an inviting space to enjoy them. The cosy living room, complete with a 40" smart TV, books, board games and high-speed fibre optic Wi-Fi, offers the perfect setting for relaxing evenings. Outside, the expansive garden provides opportunities for outdoor dining or relaxing at the picnic table enjoying the view and watching the Bluebell railway steam past. Children can enjoy the climbing frame and mud kitchen, and there is convenient parking for two cars on the gravel driveway.

Located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage is surrounded by countryside perfect for long walks, many of which begin right from your doorstep. The Bluebell Railway is a local treasure, with its historic steam trains regularly passing through the idyllic landscape—an enchanting sight that’s sure to delight both children and adults.
For those interested in exploring local towns, East Grinstead is just a short drive away. This historic market town boasts medieval timber-framed buildings, independent shops, cosy pubs and a rich history. Don’t miss Sackville College or Standen House, a stunning National Trust property that showcases Arts and Crafts design. A short drive takes you to the enchanting Ashdown Forest, a sprawling area of woodlands and heathlands famous for inspiring A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh.
