Chestnut Cottage has a commanding setting on the Fairway Lakes, a stunning development within the grounds of Caldecott Hall Golf Club and Spa. The 400-acre estate is nestled on the edge of the Norfolk Broads with easy access of the amazing coastline and many wide sandy beaches.
Designed with first-floor open-plan living accommodation, to maximise the wonderful views across the golf course, lake and open countryside. A fully equipped kitchen and large dining table are perfect for celebrating any occasion in style. From here you can step outside onto a seating veranda, the perfect spot to watch the players enjoy their game of golf, and peaceful views over the lake with visiting birdlife. A staircase also leads down to another seating terrace and your very own hot tub. The living room offers comfy sofas, perfect to enjoy quality time together.
On-site, guests can enjoy the facilities of The Barnworks Spa, with an indoor heated swimming pool (charges apply with a discount for lodge guests) and shower and changing facilities. There are set times for children to use the swimming pool, always accompanied by an adult. Barn1, the on-site bar and restaurant, enables you to enjoy a variety of culinary delights (times vary, check website) without venturing too far from home. It is a very short walk to Redwings Horse Sanctuary, including Oliver’s Cafe and a gift shop.
A short drive away is Somerleyton Hall Estate with gardens and a gastro pub. The traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is 6 miles or visit nearby Gorleston-on-Sea with its stunning, sandy beaches. Tripadvisor has named Gorleston-on-Sea as one of the best beaches in the UK.
