The Villa:
The living areas of the villa have been designed to be either open plan and connected or to allow for the different areas to become more secluded - the choice is yours.
The main Lounge provides space for all guests to gather in comfort. By day, the room is spacious and airy and provides panoramic sea and beach views. At night, with the curtains drawn and the subdued lighting on, the room transforms into a cosy retreat. There is a 42" TV with Sky and also a home cinema surround sound system which can be used to play movies (Blu-Ray, DVDs) or music (CDs or via BlueTooth from your smart device). A selection of movies, games and puzzles have been provided for your use.
The Dining Room has a large dining table with seating for up to six guests. Further seating is available in the connected Kitchen. Should additional places be required in the Dining Room, a separate foldable table can be brought from the bedroom area.
Two sliding doors can be opened fully to the Patio transforming the room entirely. On a warm evening this allows diners to enjoy a sea breeze and the sounds of the waves on the beach.

What makes this property unique
Castlepoint was designed, built, and furnished by Bob and Joan McAlister in 1973 as a holiday home to be used on weekends and over the summer.
The house is now owned by their son Michael and his wife Lauren. Most of the house retains the original mid-century and retro decor and furnishings and where changes have been needed, these have been in keeping with the original styling.
For many years, the McAlister family have welcomed friends to enjoy the spectacular views, spend time on the beach and to relax and recharge in the spacious areas of the house.
While a few things have changed, the spirit of hospitality has not! We hope you have a wonderful stay at the house and enjoy exploring the sights and attractions in the local area.
