Hale Kamaole is located across from one of the best beaches on Maui. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a loft comfortably sleeps 6. The condo features a King size bed in the upstairs master, a Queen sleeper sofa in the loft and downstairs there's 2 twins beds that can be put together to make another King, if desired. The living room and lanai have gorgeous ocean views and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including blender, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. The condo also has a washer and dryer and AC in the bedrooms.

Great location

A nice big unit with two beds, two baths and a loft. Great for the 5 of us. Can see Kam 3 and the pool from the balcony. Easy walking to everything. As some others commented, the unit is very dated, but you should be outside!

Perfect Kihei location!

The view was incredible, amenities for the house and beach were beyond perfect. Had a beach tent and umbrella, cooler and water toys for our baby. And so much more! Would stay here again and again.

Beautiful, family friendly location

This location was fantastic. The photos don’t really do the condo justice. It’s well appointed, and nicely laid out. A few very minor fixes were required while we were there and the condo manager was very helpful and quick to respond. The view in this unit is spectacular and you could see the mountains and the ocean in one panorama.

Amazing Place To Stay

This property is an amazing place to stay. Excellent communication with host and property manager. When you stay here all you’ll need are your personal items. They have everything you would need to enjoy relaxing in the sand to any water activities. For anyone wondering how close you will be to beach activities, you’ll find yourself less than 50 yards away. From the lanai you’ll enjoy an amazing ocean view. If you’re there at the right time you’ll be able to see whales. I have family that live on the island and this was the perfect place to host dining events. From children to adults there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and talk story. I would suggest staying here even if traveling solo. Everyone in the complex are very friendly and I even made new and wonderful friends. I look forward to my next trip and staying here again!

Family trip

This was great place to stay! Everything was clean and well located. The condo had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. It was close to the beach and restaurants and had a lovely view of the ocean. I highly recommend staying here.

Another great stay on the Hale Kamaole property

Have rented a number of condos at Hale Kamaole, first time in this unit, found it nicely updated and clean...well stocked for cooking and the beach. Enjoyed the great view towards the ocean and being close to the lower pool. Would stay here again. The only thing missing...a kettle!

Wonderful stay on south shore

If you have 5 people who need a bed with their own space (pullout in loft rather than living room), want to be four units from a great swimming beach and close to incredible snorkeling within two miles, want to be able to watch the sunset from your balcony, have a great responsive host, make your own food in a good kitchen, not worry about packing towels, coolers, beach chairs, stay here.

Great place and awesome location!

Our family of 4 stayed at this amazing condo right across from Kamaole beach park 3. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai while watching the waves and west Maui mountains. It was convenient to the beach, water sports rentals/lessons and dining options. The host was very responsive and helpful to our requests. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect affordable spot for a larger family

I found this spot was the best price to house 6 adults with each their own private space with the convenience of the loft. Great access to beach and pool- well stocked kitchen and beach toys/supplies. The only criticism is that there were a few spots that could use a deeper clean (ie doors looking a bit grey from fingerprints) or a few minor upgrades (patio closet requiring some sanding to avoid having to slam in shut) but we were very happy overall and had a great stay.

Excellent spot for families

The unit is as per the listing, very spacious, and the location cannot be beat! Walk across the street to great snorkeling and excellent coffee and snack bars. Plenty of room for families, and the loft is a perfect bonus. The unit is very well stocked with towels and linens and beach gear - everything you need for a great vacation. Only negative would be that it’s somewhat dated, and could use an upgrade. That said many are in the prime locations, and the unit was pretty well cleaned, so it’s really an afterthought. We would definitely return.

The beach is across the street. The condo is cool and is big. Jennifer can help you with any situation or questions. We will be back. This is the place to stay. The condo and complex are well maintained. The unit has everything. Great deal and everything went smoothly.

Condo in poor condition

Property in great location with pools, BBQ and Pickleball courts. Great view and walk to the beach but condo in extremely poor and run down condition. Mold and mildew in shower and sinks. Fans, ice maker and TV remotes not working. Air con old and inefficient. Kitchen cupboards and oven dirty. Entry and patio very flithy In the beginning the Property manager asked us to handle these issues ourselves and seemed put out by our requests. The general description for the condo was highly inaccurate. Would not recommend.

Overall Stay Was Good

At first we were very concerned, when we arrived to find someone else in the Vrbo we rented. Luckily it was the property manager who was using the condo and didn’t realize we rented it and was able to clean it quickly. That set us back about an hour to get into the condo. The condo was very nice, but the AC units couldn’t handle the heat and left it a little warm during the day. The beds were comfortable and fit our needs. When it came to checking out, we were running s little late (1 hour) and based on the initial issue we had, I wasn’t too concerned about it, but the cleaning lady was right at the door at check out time and rudely confronted us about being late, I was not impressed with the attitude. Overall I was happy with the rental, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Awesome condo and location!

This condo is in a prime location almost to Wailea and across from Kam 3 beach, a perfect spot to watch the sunset! The lanai looks out at the beach and beautiful open lawn which was my favorite part! It had all the space we needed, the extra loft area was nice as we took a single mattress and put it in the loft for my 14 year old son to sleep on. The sleeper sofa was not going to work for him (too squeaky and bouncy) but would work for younger kids. I’d suggest the info in the description to be changed to 2 singles and/or a king bed in the downstairs room. I was anticipating both as they have pictures of both. This condo is a bit dated and needed a good deep cleaning but overall we would come back. There were a few things we needed but management took care of them quickly. I’d suggest a working fan as the stand up fan sounded like it was on its last leg. Also the kitchen is in need of mixing bowls- we had to use a pot for a salad bowl. Otherwise they had plenty of kitchen gadgets and stocked the cabinets with spices, syrup, coffee, etc. My handyman husband wrote a list of easy fixes- needs a new front door magnetic stop, the towel bar in downstairs bathroom needs fixing, the downstairs toilet tank fill ran, the master bath shower door latch moves around, almost fell off. This is a lengthy review but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this condo. The grounds were maintained nicely, the pool area and grill areas are nice. Will be back!
