We love spacious living area with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, The private walled garden with fresh water wood fired hot tub is a delight too and only three miles from the coast!. 1 step to entrance.

Separate Toilet.. Oil and underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Back garden with courtyard sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue (Charcoal). Hot tub for 2 (private). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden.. The Stables at Grange Barn offers a charming and comfortable retreat for two. It is located in the tranquil hamlet of Whitedale, just three miles from the scenic East Riding Coastline. This spacious accommodation features a large open-plan living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a cosy wood-burning stove. Underfloor heating ensures warmth throughout, and the well-equipped kitchen provides all the essentials needed to cook up a storm.
The bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a smart TV, while the modern bathroom has a deep-filled bath and a separate shower. Step outside to an enclosed walled garden with mature borders, gravel paths, a raised patio area, and a fresh-water, wood-fired hot tub, perfect for unwinding.
With big open skies, on clear nights the outside space comes alive and is a fabulous place for star gazing. We can’t promise you the Northern lights but they have been a frequent visitor over the last few years and a spectacular sight from the house.
The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities. The sandy Mappleton Beach is nearby, while a 10-minute drive leads to Hornsea, a charming seaside town with a Victorian promenade, amusement arcades, and plenty of bars and restaurants. Hornsea Mere, the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire, is ideal for water sports and birdwatching.
For a unique shopping experience, Hornsea Freeport offers a variety of stores and local treats. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy several nearby courses, while those interested in history can explore the iconic Beverley Minster, attend a race day at Beverley Racecourse, or enjoy the town’s bustling nightlife and excellent dining options. The cultural City of Hull, with its theatres, museums, and vibrant nightlife, is within easy reach. Burton Constable Hall, a stunning stately home with beautiful gardens, offers a perfect day out close by.
Nature lovers and adventurers will find numerous rural trails, ideal for walking, cycling, birdwatching, or even horseback riding at local stables.
