Gladesville House, 2 Mill Street was built in the 19th century Arts and Crafts Style and is packed with original features.
Blue Bliss, one of our most popular apartments, is located on the first floor of the building. Highlights include wooden floors, high ceilings and the spacious dark blue bedroom with its superior quality bed, mattress and bedding.
You enter the house through the communal front door and go up the stairs to the apartment and through a private entrance to the hallway which has doors to the kitchen/sitting/dining room. It features two bedrooms, one king size and one double, and a bathroom.
The sitting room has a lovely original decorative fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Furnished with antiques, a new kitchen and quality modern beds and mattresses.
Gladesville House, 2 Mill Street was built in the Arts and Crafts Style and has been lovingly restored by the owner. It is packed with original features and William Morris designs. Chagford is a great base for walking, bouldering, cycling, spotting wildlife and Dartmoor ponies, sightseeing (Castle Drogo, Stone Lane Gardens) and fine dining at the local restaurants or the Michelin-starred Gidleigh Park Hotel which is a short drive or 40 min. walk away. Chagford can be reached by public transport.
No pets sadly in this apartment. Pets are allowed in two of the four apartments that have outside space (William's Nest and Meldon View).
