About this property
The Chapel - Kinsham
Set in the pretty village of Kinsham on the fringes of the Cotswolds National Landscape, this delightful, converted chapel offers the perfect getaway to outdoor-loving couples and their faithful furry friend. Avid walkers and explorers are in good company with the number of walking routes available from the doorstep, including routes to the Bredon Hills (5 miles) with their iron-age forts, fantastic views and varied footpaths. Other outdoor adventures await across the Malvern Hills National Landscape (14.5 miles) and the peaceful Cotswold Way (10 miles). The charming Gloucestershire town of Tewkesbury (4.5 miles) is the meeting place for the River Severn and the River Avon, and is well worth a visit for pretty strolls. For a day at the races, head to bustling Cheltenham (10 miles), while nearby Cotswold villages with plenty of charm include Winchcombe, Broadway, and Stow-on-the-Wold (all within 19 miles).
Immerse yourself in countryside charm as you make your way to the front door of this charming, converted chapel. Head inside to find a lovingly renovated, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – the social heart of the home. Cosy up with a cup of tea and a feel-good film on the Smart TV after days of rural walking, before starting the preparations for a romantic dinner in the stylish, shaker-style kitchen. In the corner, a pillow-laden, built-in bench and generously sized dining table is ideal for tucking into intimate dishes. From here, guests have access to a separate cloakroom as well as the well-appointed shower room with a chic walk-in shower and WC. At night, head up the staircase to the tranquil mezzanine bedroom, which offers a king-size bed and a glass balustrade overlooking a stunning chandelier.
Outside, make full use of the patio space which is laid with gravel and furnished with an outdoor table and chairs, offering the perfect spot for quiet morning coffees or al fresco evening meals together. Guests will also find private parking for two cars.
