The stunning sandy beach provides the perfect base for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. The nearby lighthouse stands proudly as a landmark. Once you’ve marvelled at the lighthouse, enjoyed the children’s play park, a pedestrian ramp leads down onto the excellent sandy beach.
The famous Norfolk Boards are also very close at hand to enjoy boat trips and water sports including sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding.
Happisburgh beach is a quieter beach, here you can almost enjoy it all to yourself. Miles of excellent walking can be enjoyed from the doorstep. Enjoy a stroll to the beach, and the village pub, using the local footpaths leading across the fields. Happisburgh beach has no restrictions, which is also great for dog lovers. Enjoy a leisurely walk onto Carp Gap, but don’t forget to call at cafe Small Sticks, well known and a popular refuelling station, or walk in the opposite direction onto Sea Palling, a popular seaside village with amusement arcade, café, fish and chips and doughnuts.
