Welcome to your dream retreat in Yarmouth Port! This stunning 3500 sqft 1880 Captains home, is designed to offer an unforgettable getaway experience.
Renovated in 2014 and updated in 2022, this spectacular antique home boasts a beachy, modernist design - stylish yet cozy and comfortable.
The first floor impresses with its grand living room and a spacious family room with lots of books and a game cabinet with games, puzzles and toys to entertain your guests on a rainy day.
A bright and airy dining room with access to the large back porch, and a fully equipped remodeled kitchen are perfect for hosting memorable feasts with loved ones. The kitchen seats 4, the dining room 8 to 10 people.
The kitchen is furnished with all necessary appliances including a ceramic cook-top, built in oven, dishwasher and design refrigerator. It is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, cutlery, Breville toaster, Magic bullet, coffee maker, milkfoamer, pots & pans. The pantry next to the kitchen offers further glassware and basic pantry items. You will find a new washing machine and dryer in the laundry room next to the kitchen.
Next to the dining room, in the “birdwatching room” a den with access to the back porch with a comfortable Le Corbusier daybed and an Eero Aarnio Ballchair you can watch birds and wildlife in the large backyard.
A large queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is situated close to the front entrance on the first floor for those who want to avoid climbing the stairs to the second floor.
A half bathroom is located right next to the dining room and an outdoor shower on the porch.
From the first floor two separate stairways, one next to the back entrance and one next to the front entrance of the house lead to the second floor where four more bedrooms await, providing a haven of comfort and relaxation.
The very large king bedroom with a seating area and a 1960’s vanity is right next to the staircase and primary bathroom on the second floor. Two big queen bedrooms and a twin trundle bedroom can accommodate more people. A little bunk room can be used as a playroom for kids. (not suitable for sleeping) AC Window units provide comfort during warm summer nights.
Unwind in one of the bathrooms with their unique design in the claw foot bathtubs. From one of the bathtubs will can admire the stars through a roof window. The walk in shower boast hand painted tiles by a local designer.

The outdoor space, a very private backyard and a large frontyard is an entertainer's delight, with a spacious back porch perfect for hosting lively BBQs. It is furnished with a lounge wicker area and a large wooden dining table and chairs.
Play crocket, or basketball behind the barn, or simply lounge in comfortable Adirondack chairs on side porch to watch the wonderful wildlife of Cape Cod.
The professionally landscaped backyard borders on conservation property and offers beautiful views and maximum privacy. There are binoculars birdwatching room to do some birdwatching or stargazing. The backyard is about 1 acre in size and there is a cemented area with a basketball hoop attached to the barn to play ball or do skateboarding.
The front of the house boasts a beautiful Greek revival style porch, where you can enjoy the spectacular sunset.
The house is a half a mile walk from Yarmouth Port’s local beach, Gray’s beach. This beach is an ideal family beach, with a picnic area and playground. You can also take a sunset stroll on the magnificent boardwalk which heads out into the Bay. The views are stunning from this tranquil nature-lovers haunt. In the spring you may be lucky enough to see the ospreys perched on their nest, and even get a glimpse of the chicks.
At low tide It takes a couple of minutes walk from Gray’s beach to the northern tip of Chapin’s beach.

Yarmouthport is a relaxed little town on the North side, home to many historic Captain’s houses, the Kelley’s Chapel and Gorham Cobblers Shop, the Edward Gorey House and Museum and Captain Bangs Hallet’s House/icecream parlor.
