About this property
Nice cottage with a panoramic view of Lake Ylen | SE07025
Welcome to this pleasant cottage with a fantastic location and a panoramic view of Lake Ylen. Here you have only 25 m down to the lake where you have a jetty and sandy beach.
The cottage is 70 square meters and has room for 4 people divided over two bedrooms with two single beds in each. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Here you can prepare your meals with a panoramic view of the lake.
The cottage has a large terrace and is high up with a lake view. The plot has a large lawn, suitable for ball games.
This part of the lake is shallow and Ylen is known for its fine stock of zander, but there is also a good supply of perch and pike. You can buy a fishing license via ifiske.se. Fishing in the lake may take place from 1 May to 31 July and from 1 October to 31 March.
Things to do in Lekeryd and surrounding area
It is 6 km to Åsens village north of Haurida in Aneby municipality. Here you can travel back to the year 1900 to see what life in the countryside in Småland could have looked like at that time. The cultural reserve Åsens by is the country's first cultural reserve and was established in 2000.
The nearest store is in Lekeryd, but then it is only 16 km to Huskvarna, which has a larger selection. Feel free to visit Gränna and make an excursion to Visingsö. Experience the pleasant city of Jönköping on the southern shore of Lake Vättern. The Elmia Fair attracts thousands of visitors here every year. Jönköping has plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Other excursion destinations are the wooden town of Eksjö, which has over 50 heritage-listed wooden houses and, of course, Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby.
