Located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, this expansive holiday home has everything you need for a memorable family gathering or celebration. It gives you plenty to do without even leaving the house, with its private outdoor pool (open May to September), eight-person hot tub, gym and large grounds. When it’s time to venture out, you’ll find a friendly pub just 350 metres away, adjacent to the property there is a public footpath to the Loose valley where you can find 2 beautiful lakes and extensive walks. Within the Loose valley you will find a 16th century pub situated next to a stream. There are plenty more amenities in Maidstone (within 2 miles). Nearby attractions include the popular Leeds Castle (7.5 miles) where children will love exploring the maze and grotto – or treat them to a thrilling adventure at Go Ape. Rochester (11 miles) is fab for a day trip, with its beautiful cathedral and medieval church. If you’re looking for a coastal day out, you can head to the towns of Whitstable, Broadstairs and Margate. For shopping, the Bluewater Shopping Centre is only 22 miles away.
This detached country house is beautifully presented, with gorgeous matching colour schemes and elegant decorative details. The grand entrance hall is illuminated by a stunning designer chandelier, while the 70-square-metre contemporary kitchen has a central island, and all the equipment needed to inspire your inner celeb chef. The kitchen extends into a cosy orangery with plush seating and garden views – ideal for sipping morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The downstairs also includes an inviting lounge, with seating for 14 or more, a formal dining room with a table for 14 and a snug with a double sofa bed – fab for any extra guests that may want to join you. You will also find a games room leading into a conservatory with ample seating. There is a gym with cardio equipment, various weight machines and free weights. Heading upstairs, you’ll discover five king-size bedrooms accessed by two staircases, two of which have en-suite bathrooms, one with both a bath and shower, and a second with a shower. Two additional bathrooms provide a mix of bath and shower options. For added luxury, the pool house has its own kitchen with Smeg Fridge, under cabinet freezer, under cabinet fridge, oven and gas hob, shower room and sofa bed – offering space for two more if needed.
Outside, you’ll have vast grounds with a lawn, a spacious patio with ample seating and 2 poolside gas BBQ’s and garden bar for those fair-weather pool parties. Additionally, there is private parking for at least 10 cars.
