About this property
Art, Trails and Stories at Cortona doorstep for families and friends
At Casaletto di Monsigliolo, among paths, trails, villages, and cities of art, the past and future embrace, inviting you to create stories and memories together.
A 1700s stone farmhouse, restored with respect for the existing structure and environmental sustainability, ideal for 6 guests seeking intimacy and conviviality.
There are many shared spaces where you can be inspired by the light, along with 3 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, decorated with great originality and attention to detail.
The soundtrack of your stay will be all about slow living.
On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen with original hexagonal cement tiles, a central table that is the heart of authentic Italian traditions, a fireplace, an electric and microwave oven, a large fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and very Italian espresso machines.
On the ground floor, the first double bedroom, in the warm colors of the local red bricks, and 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite to the master bedroom, painted with natural oxides.
Upstairs, you will find a living room with a large iron fireplace, a double room with a bathroom, and a suite consisting of a quiet first room, which can also accommodate a single bed, a romantic bathroom with a double bathtub where you can recharge your energy, and a spacious bedroom with walls that still partly preserve the decorative paintings from the 1930s.
Air conditioning in every room, plenty of light, carefully chosen bed frames and mattresses for comfort, and natural colors and materials. The rhythm of your stay will invite you to slow down and savor each moment.
Each room is bathed in natural light and equipped with climate control for your comfort. The beds and mattresses have been carefully selected for maximum comfort, while natural colors and materials have been thoughtfully incorporated.
Far from the hustle and bustle, yet equipped with all comforts, from Wi-Fi to drinking water, easy access roads, and parking in front of the house.
Just around the corner, you’ll find wheat and sunflower fields, cypress trees, Mediterranean pines, and the Bonifica paths along the old Chiana canals. Right from the house, a gentle walk along the canal banks leads you to the town, connecting to the trail that starts from Arezzo, passes through Cortona, and runs across the entire valley.
All around are the gentle hills with the Capuchin Cells where St. Francis once lived and the oasis of the Abbey of Farneta, expanses of Syrah and Sangiovese vineyards, the slopes of Cortona’s hill dotted with Renaissance basilicas, Etruscan sites, and historic residences.
Just a few minutes by car from all services and shops, close to the major art cities of Tuscany and Umbria, the thermal baths, Lake Trasimeno, and the Umbrian-Marchigian Apennines.
