Plas Dorothea in Talysarn, Gwynedd, sleeps seventeen in six bedrooms.
Plas Dorothea is a spacious property featuring six bedrooms, including a super-king-size with en-suite bath, a double with sofa bed, and en-suite, another double with en-suite shower, two additional doubles (one with sofa bed ), and a ground-floor family room with a double and single bed. The house has a shower room with his-and-hers basin, a cloakroom, a large kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with open fire, and a bar with woodburning stove and inglenook fire place. Amenities include gas central heating, an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV, and a darts board, with fuel, power, starter pack for the woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels provided. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with a lawn, patio, furniture, and gas barbecue, plus private parking with ample space. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Plas Dorothea is 1.7 miles from a shop, 1.8 miles from a pub, and 0.1 miles from the river, offering an ideal retreat for larger gatherings. Note: Towels are not provided, please bring your own

Boat trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of Ynys Mon (Anglesey) and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
