About this property

Beautiful New Home On The Flats

This custom 4 bedroom home was completed in 2017. It is on Eucalyptus street, the best street in Avalon because there are no golf carts allowed. Children play in the street and residents have barbecues and eat outside. The home has full width cantina doors opening to a porch with a porch swing. The Kitchen has a wolf range, subway tile and beautiful counter tops. There is one master bedroom downstairs with a queen bed. Upstairs there is a whimsical bunk room with five bunks and a loft area. There is also a room with two twin beds and another sleeping area with a queen and a twin. This is a family vacation home and we are making it available to a select group of families who will treat it as their own.

The PERFECT Spot in Catalina!

The house was perfect. Great for a family holiday. The kids LOVED the bunk room. Super convenient location. Great to be on a street with no traffic. Super safe, lovely, easy. Worth it!!

Beautiful home great location

Stayed for my twins 13th. We recently lost my husband so it was importante that this trip be memorable and fun. It was just that. Wonderful location and the home was so kid friendly. I had a room downstairs so it was nice to be tucked away and get rest.

The property is attractive, nicely sized and PERFECTLY located. It served well for our particular needs of our family which includes grandparents, adult children and their young children for a total of seven (one dad couldn't make it).

Best Weekend Getaway for Moms

I was looking for a house big enough for a mom’s getaway weekend to Catalina. We wanted to be present with each other and not have to worry about watching over our kids/cook/etc. This house was as advertised and big enough for all of us to have a bed to sleep on. It was clean and spacious. The house was stocked with towels, pots/pans, utensils, plates, etc. Vons was just down the street from the house and the location was so convenient! The walk from the pier to the house was easy as well, and we all enjoyed walking around town. Tyler, the owner, was very responsive when we needed help with the heater. We all enjoyed our stay and this house gave us so many good memories. Thank you, Tyler, for opening your house to us and allowing us to catch up and unwind!

Great central location, safe street for family

Great place to stay for 3 couples, and the kids bunk room accommodates 5+ kids easily! The street out front has very little traffic which is nice. Great stay! Right next to Vons grocery store.

Great Stay!

We had a girls weekend and this location and loved the proximity and aesthetic. It was a great place and we would stay here again! We had some issues with the upstairs toilet and the property owner was very communicative. Thank you again!

Our new favorite house in Avalon

Our Family of 10 travel to Avalon every year. We have stayed in a lot of different houses over the years. This house is by far the best. Tyler (the host) was very responsive. There were a couple of small issues when we checked in, and Tyler had them fixed within an hour. The rest of the stay was magnificent.

Great house in good location

One of the better houses we’ve stayed at in Catalina. We are regulars to the island and always looking for great properties. This had plenty of room for our group and in a nice quiet street. Easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Host very easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Great Location, and Layout with a few touchups needed

The house is set up for a large family or group with kids, which is exactly what we had, so it was a good fit. I like Eucalyptus street because there is no traffic and the kids can play in the street without noisy carts driving by. The floor was a little dirty, and we had to do some quick repairs to door knobs coming off, and shower knobs coming off, but everything seemed to work. I think for the price we paid a cart should have been included. You can do a lot of walking in Avalon, and if you have some in your group that can't walk a great distance this can be a problem.

Perfect multi family house

What a great house! There are lots of rooms for the parents and a really neat bunk bed room for the kids. We opened the house up and played stick ball in the street. There were other families staying on the street and it was cool to have a street wide happy hour as the kids played and the sun went down.

Awesome Catalina House

My friends and I had a great stay! It was a reunion trip for 7 adults. Close to the town and Vons for groceries. Beautiful decor and very comfortable. Host was very responsive with questions and easy check in. Would absolutely stay again.

Great Weekend Away

We had a wonderful time and stay in this beautiful home! Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend, but the house was so cozy and perfect for our group. It was walking distance to everything including the Vons grocery store. The home was equipped with everything we needed! Would definitely come back and stay here!!!

Great Getaway for Groups

This house was very nice, clean and had plenty of space for our group of 9. Everyone had a bed and it was a very spacious place. Great location very close to Vons and a couple blocks from all of our activities.

Flawless experience

One of the better vacation rental experiences I have had. The property was clean and comfortable for our group of 9. We were able to walk everywhere in Avalon from the house, and although check-in wasn't until 4pm, we were allowed to drop our bags off before - very convenient considering our earlier ferry arrival. Highly recommended

Everything imaginable and more!

We are a group of young professional females who booked this place for our annual retreat and it surpassed every expectations we had for the following reasons: 1. Upon arrival, we are impressed by the proximity, quick walk to town, next to Avon, center of everything, quaint neighborhood. 2. The house is immaculate, it looks like it came straight from a Town and Home catalog, cute porch with a swing for stargazing, plenty of room for 8 adults. All the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything, nice and big bathrooms, lots of storage. 3. Hospitality- Tyler is readily available to answer our questions and responds quickly and is accommodating. He is a great host. We are all very happy with our stay and highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

We loved that the front accordion doors opened to the street. It made it so bright and airy. The location was great. Walking to everything. Tyler was very responsive. A beautiful home.

Nice place, but ……

We enjoyed our stay once we chose to overlook some issues. First night after a long travel day. Remotes to TVs batteries were dead. One Tv was completely inoperable. The cable box was completely disassembled. The main tv we could not change the channel or lower the volume so we just went to bed. The next morning we discovered the coffee maker did not work after spending $ coffee for the week. My family cannot go w/o coffee. I messaged Tyler and he sent someone over. Before his neighbor arrived with batteries, I had to call the emergency number because my 76 yo mother was stuck in the bathroom and we could not get her out. She was in there for almost 1 hr. We almost called the fire department. I did call VRBO bc we were frantic. There was no air flowing in there, no window etc. The cleaning lady sent her husband who had a tiny screwdriver and wriggled it for 15+ mins. He eventually got her out. Once the neighbor came he had to tape the latch on the door so it would not happen again. Tyler finally called me back, his response lacked empathy. His exact words were “that’s unfortunate.” His response to the coffee maker was “well I was there Monday, but in the same breath “ don’t drink coffee” He told me we could use the Keurig, but we had already spent and opened the $ worth of coffee. His last suggestion was we could go to the coffee shop. That was it. Totally lacking hospitality especially at a this rate per night. We found dirty towels hanging in two of 3 bathrooms.

Perfect -Peace and Plenty

The house was beautifully designed and visually comforting. All amenities were thought out for any of our needs. The open air concept both upstairs and downstairs was appreciated. Fantastic Rental

This house was just perfect for me and extended family who were all congregating for a wedding on the island. It was super easy to walk to all our s=destinations and the living room glass door opens up to the deck and street which was perfect as quite a few passer byers were friends also visiting for the wedding. So we were the park it and chill house. The decor is hip fresh and their were many perks including a stem shower. U can't go wrong with this choice. All five of us were THRILLED with the property.
