Fun time in Red Lifeguard Tiny house!!

Check-in was easy. Host was great and easy to contact very responsive. No issues; just had questions. Beds were comfortable. Recommend Pizza place in plaza down the street. Siesta Beach was long and beautiful but need car to get there. You can walk to Cresent Beach. Will definitely be back.

Beach escape

Great location short ride to beach when traffic was low. Loved the ice cream and health food market in walking distance. Lots other restaurants in close proximity. Beds were OK. Shower is not for tall people. My only critique is some dishware that's not plastic for microwave, and more adult sized utensils.

It was nice. But pricy fir what you get.

I enjoyed the stay. However there was a rare cold spell. The heater did not keep up. Perhaps they could have been proactive with providing blankets. Again. I understand it was a rare cold spell, but maybe supply some things to make it comfortable

Pillows and heat

We all loved staying at the tiny house. Since it was the coldest Christmas in 30 years, we needed heat! I had to call the property manager to get help turning it on. She answered her phone on the 2nd ring and told us how to do it. Yay! PILLOWS! I normally travel with my own. I didn't this time and regret not doing so this time. ONLY ONE PER PERSON, AND THEY WERE FLAT. Got very little sleep. Same for my husband and son. Other that that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Really fun great trip

The Red Lifeguard house was really fun. we are a family of four and we had a ball staying here. Basic but very comfortable. Siesta Key beach is quite close, not quite walkable but bikes are perfect as the parking is tough. The place is in excellent condition. it's very new and very well made and maintained. Jody, the onsite manager is terrific, checking in on what we needed and making sure our stay was perfect. This is a great, different way to do a vacation. We highly reccomend it.

Super clean, great hospitality!

It’s a wonderful retreat away from the norm. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Very close to many stores and the beach. Staying again for sure!

Everything was great! My boys loved the unique experience and it will be talked about for years!

The owner and property manager were awesome! We had such a fun time. The property was clean and included everything we needed. An outdoor grill would have been nice, but the owner talked about upgrading each unit to include a grill. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

Great experience! Me and my family had a wonderful vacation.

It was a first for us to stay at a tiny house and I'm glad we did it. The house itself might look tiny but there is lots of room inside, location is good close to grocery stores and restaurants the beach is about 5 min drive if there is no traffic on the draw bridge. The house is extremely CLEAN and NEW. We stayed 3 days with 2 kids and it was a great experience. My wife she usually doesn't like small spaces but after seeing this house she fell in love with it. I would definitely recommend to everyone to try it. And I can't write this review without talking about the manager Jody, this guy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need and we are comfortable. Our family appreciates his hospitality.

Great time with the kids

Location: The area was great. Coffee at Clever Cup; highly recommend. Craft cart for the kids, they had a Lularoe sale going on out front. (wife happy). Organic grocery store and a restaurant a 2min walk. The beach is close, but not walkable, and traffic picks up fast. The hotel across the street has a pool bar, and it was perfect to sit and have a drink while the kids were asleep 100ft away. Shopping, if so inclined, is right across the road. House: A big motivator for us to rent this place was to experience a tiny house. Overall, it worked great. Two adults, a baby, and a child. We used the yellow "porch" area for the pack-and-play, and that worked quite well, as it is out of the flow of the rest of the house. My 4yo loved the ladder to her bed. Copious receptacles everywhere made charging phones, etc, a breeze. Props on the Roku TV.. easy to stream whatever we wanted. Lighting was a big issue.. perhaps replace some of the switches with dimmers, because at night, the only light we can turn on and not blind ourselves or wake up a kid was the bathroom light. A curtain would be nice so the lofts can have some semblance of privacy. If I were building this, I'd have some shelves or something to serve as storage and privacy screen. The bathroom sink doesn't have cold water. I reported it; not fixed by the time we left, but not a big deal to brush teeth with warm water. There are some design issues, here, that don't ruin this as a rental at all, but as part of the tiny house experience, were noticeable. The roof slant direction means that rain water pours right over the doorway, and that the lowest part of the ceiling is right where your head is when going up the steps/ladder to the lofts. The AC unit in this house is in the larger loft, meaning that side is going to be cold and the other hot. I'm told the other tiny houses on the way are different, though. The steps have annoying trim around them that is uncomfortable under foot when going up, and a trip hazard when going down. One was popped off already when we arrived, but was quickly fixed by on-site staff. Staff: Very friendly and talkative on-site property manager made sure I was happy, and took care of a safety issue I pointed out right away. Cost: The rate was very reasonable for Spring Break. The cleaning fee is, to me, twice what it should be for a place this small. Bottom Line: Would rent again; hope for some minor changes as listed above. Thanks for a great time.

Loved our stay in the tiny house!

My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd Anniversary and this tiny home was exactly what we're looking for! Clean with everything you could need, except a coffee maker! We will for sure be returning next year!

Great alternative to a hotel

Close enough to the beach to bike, clean, and sure beats the heck out of a hotel

My friend and I had a great time in this tiny house ! I has everything you need and we were very comfortable... everything was very clean and the decor was so appropriate. We enjoyed the beach, walking to shops and various restaurants. Downtown Sarasota is also a lovely place to explore. Siesta key beach village is a great place to hang out and is very lively often times with live entertainment. Longboat key and Saint Armand's Circle are another one of our favorites. Jody, The on-site manager was most helpful! I will be back the next time I visit the areaI would highly recommend this property if you want convenience, comfort and peace !
