Delightful chateau
quirky but superb stay. Virtually all requirements perfectly met. Deeply relaxing, lots to do or not as wished. Locals and towns charming, supermarkets easy to navigate. Food delicious. Only drawback for us was that one room had not toilet/ bathroom and had to access one through the night by going through someone else's bedroom! No downstairs toilet other than an ensuite. Not major issue but still an issue. Overall excellent and would highly reccommend.

Great family holiday
Lovely location and just right for current situation (pandemic) as away from it all. Well equipped and spacious. Eric very helpful. Family friendly. Just one comment - a "communal" toilet and wash basin would be useful somewhere on ground level. As guest in downstairs bedroom had to allow use of bathroom on occasion, especially for the children. Would go back again and will recommend to others.

Beautiful property, had everything we needed
Full of character, excellently presented and equipped. Even nicer than the photos. Spacious interior, lovely grounds, activities in abundance. Our family & friends group of 8 adults including 3 18-22 year olds had a lovely time.

Quirky Manoir
A most delightful property and a very welcoming host in a most peaceful location. The manoir suited us so well as a family of 11, the youngest being 2yrs and the most mature 72yrs! It was to celebrate my big birthday (Erik's champagne much appreciated!) and there was plenty of space for all to get lost in. Lovely beaches & walks nearby, and through the woods on the property and bikes for those energetic souls! The rooms, all themed were a delight & I particularly loved our bedroom "Vol de Nuit" up the quirky spiral stone staircase. The dining table accommodated us all and the pool table and games a treat. A most delightful stay in a lovely setting and a splendid and well appointed characterful property.

Group stay
Fourteen of us in seven sports cars stayed here 11-18 May. Great presence and location. We were lucky with nice sunny weather. Easy to get to beaches and superb coastline as well as further afield. Two hours drive direct from St. Malo but detoured quite a bit sightseeing on arrival day. Great facilities to keep a group entertained and amused within the house and in the gardens. The only down side is only having five bedrooms with en suite. Luckily the owner agreed to the use of another private room with a bathroom. Although it still meant one couple had to share bathroom facilities. Overall, however, we had a great time and would return again.

Wonderful location. A spacious and well equipt property set in beautiful peaceful surroundings.
We were here for a big family celebration and it worked perfectly. The children thought it was a magical castle and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the donkeys. The parents had an equally enjoyable time and haven't stopped talking about it since our return.

Beautiful house!
We had a fabulous stay in August. Our group of 16 aged 7-72 years thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has so much space that we always had chance to find a quiet spot. Lots of outdoor seating around the grounds as well. We had 6 teens who loved the pool table and great wifi. With a group of mixed ages it was also really good to have English Tv. The manoir is stunning - an excellent renovation with large spacious bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Erik was a great host- always quick to answer when we contacted with small issues. The house is isolated - so perfect to getaway from it all. It's ideally located for lots of fabulous trips around Brittany and there is tons of info and maps at the house. Special thanks from the children for kindly bringing crepes!

Great property - shame about the owner
Great house in a great location, with plenty of room to enjoy my 60th birthday with my family - however we didn't factor in the owners regular and unannounced visits and daily messages commenting on how we were using the house - such as 'turn the lights off/ close the windows/ did you go out and leave the door open' - or his shouting at us at 10.01 on the day of departure to 'get out of his house' as he had 'beaucoup travail' before the next guests. I wouldn't recommend this house if privacy on holiday is important to you. The house needs an extra bathroom - despite having five bathrooms they are all ensuite - which is a problem for anyone staying in a bedroom without any facilities - there is no general access bathroom/toilet.

Excellent family holiday house
We have had a brilliant family holiday at Kervingant with ages ranging from 3 to 78. There is plenty to expolore around the grounds, and the pool and table tennis had maximum use. Plestin-les-Greves market is a must, and Super U has everything you could want. St Efflam beach is great for paddle boarding and beach games, but a very long trek if you get the tide wrong! Sand yachting looked fantastic but was fully booked for the time we wanted it. (Book early in the week if you fancy sand yachting!) Locquirec has a lovely walk round the point and good bars by the port. The 3Ts restaurant in Lanvellec did a very good 'night out' for the over 40s which wasn't overly expensive. (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday) The only down side of the house was that there was no communal toilet on the ground floor other than the en-suite one. It would also have been lovely to have an in-ground pool in the menage, but maybe that is in the pipeline for the future. In no way did either of these detract from the enjoyment of our stay at Kervingant. Thank you Erik for the use of your house and for the goodies you gave us when we arrived. Our week was a great family success.

Lovely quirky property
We were a large family party (11) who rented during the second week in June. The property had a real wow factor on arrival and on initial exploration of its 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We never ran out of hot water which was great but there was general consensus that more towels would have been nice. All the bedrooms had a different theme ( NB no communal bathroom or toilet). . There were lots of comfortable nooks and crannies for people to get away from each other including 2 sitting areas with televisions, one English the other French. The dining table easily accommodated our party size. The pool table provided good entertainment as did the table tennis outside, There were bikes for the more energetic and there was a large and very beautiful garden, There were lovely beaches 25 mins away. One drawback was the lack of any shops in nearby Tremal and so we had to travel 15 mins by car very day for provisions in Plestin le Greve, but only a minor inconvenience. For those arriving from Ireland on the Sat night/ Sun ferry, it might be useful to know that out of high season, the local supermarket in Plestin is closed all day Sunday, We went to restaurant Ty Mad in Plestin on Monday evening and the food was superb. This is a great rental for a big group who want to get away from it all, it is very secluded. However be aware that due to the ancient nature of this 'oldie worldie' property, the stairs are steep especially the lovely stone spiral stairs. Definately a house with charm and character.

Lovely house for a family get together
Lovely house in peaceful countryside with plenty of things to do on days in (swimming, badminton, cycling, table tennis, pool table) or days out in the local area. Slightly awkward having 3 bedrooms sharing an ensuite (all toilets are in ensuites). Well stocked kitchen for large groups and the barbecue got a lot of use.

Fantastic family property
We spent 10 days at the Manoir - with a party of 10 ranging from 6 to 47. The house is wonderful - it has loads to keep everyone occupied & enough space for everybody to spread out. The donkeys were a favourite! There was loads to do in the surrounding area, from the beach to Oceanopolis in Brest - the Sunday market in Plestin was great, & a visit to Huelgoat to walk through the forest is a must. The only thing I could think of that would have improved our stay would have been a visitors book so we could have seen what other people had done that was worth visiting - we missed out on the biscuit factory tour! I would highly recommend this as a holiday location - true, unspoilt French property in a peaceful but convenient location. Merci beaucoup!!

Lovely house
Le Manoir Kervingnant was a lovely house for our large group, more spacious than the pictures portrayed and the grounds were good for the children to explore and play safely. The kitchen was well equipped as was the out building with bikes and games. It's location was wonderfully peaceful and quiet and close to good beaches, we liked Locquirec and Tregastel. A day out at Vivons Perches (zip line/ aerial adventure) was enjoyed by all ages. Erik was helpful and pleasant too. Just to note not all rooms have a bathroom and there is no communal bathroom in the house. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

Lovely holiday with the whole family
13 of us stayed at Erik's Manoir for a week and had a wonderful time. Ages ranged from 6 months to grandparents. The Manoir is very well equipped and everything functioned as it should and as advertised. Outside space is great and we played boules, table tennis, badminton and football. Inside there were lots of games - the pool table was very well used. We went to the nearby beaches, which were clean and almost empty. Our visit to Oceanopolis in Brest was a great success. There are no local shops in Tremel, which is the nearest village - we shopped in big supermarkets or in Plestin les Greves (which has a market on Sunday). It was a very good holiday for all of us.

A beautiful house in a stunning location
I stayed at Manoir de Kervingant in August with a family group of 12, including children aged 5-19. It was an amazing holiday. The house is well-appointed and beautifully renovated. The kitchen had everything we needed and could think of needing, bedrooms all had comfortable beds and a good number of bathrooms. The children oscillated between jumping in the splash pool, cycling round the field, stroking and talking to the donkeys, playing table tennis / badminton, and 'having a relax' on the sun loungers! We loved having dinner outside on the terrace and watching the sun go down over the trees, and then at night star-gazing. The wifi was good enough even for our 19 year old to be happy! We spent a lot of time at the beach at Locquirec, and particularly loved the Sunday market in Plestin--les-Greves - go and buy a chicken & roast potatoes, you won't be disappointed! We hope to return to Kervingant in the future; I am sure it would make a wonderfully cosy Winter break as well as a perfect summer holiday house.

A really characterful and fun place to stay
Great to have so much space for people to be together and also to have space to be apart if needed. We loved the stone spiral staircase. The table tennis table and pool table were a real plus. Although the bikes weren't in good working order when we arrived they were quickly fixed when we asked and the cyclists amongst us enjoyed our early morning rides around the lanes. We had a very happy holiday here. E

Excellent property.
We were 15 in our family, including 7 children, sharing our holiday. It could have been chaotic, but the property was so large and beautifully appointed, that everyone had a really happy time. The Manor is stunningly beautiful, set in lovely grounds, with splash pool, badminton net, table tennis table, and pool table, all of which were instantly popular, and both French and English speaking televisions, which meant we didn't have to miss the Olympics! There were even two delightful donkeys to befriend... The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and the nearby beaches ideal for keeping the youngest happy. When we had a minor problem the owner and his handyman came to our aid immediately and were charming. Altogether a wonderful holiday; thank you, Erik!

A refaire !

Kervingant Chateau , a stunning beautiful home from home.
An amazing house, in a wonderful setting. The nearby small town of Plestin-Les-Greves on market day, Sunday, is truly fabulous . With quite a few beaches ,not far, and lots of Historic places to visit, there are lots of different ways to spend your time. Also ,in the house are lots for all to do. We felt very comfortable , and really didn't want to leave, we will return! A special mention of the Bistro, in Plestin, Avelzo, they were so friendly and accommodating ,recommended. Both Erik (owner) and Simon(care-taker) were welcoming and helpful, a very special family holiday was had by us all. Thankyou.

Wonderful place! Our family had a fabulous stay at Kervingant Manoir. From age 6 months to 93 years, everyone was comfortable and happy. The Chateau was beautiful ,we didn't want to leave. Nearby, in Plestin the bistro ,Avelzo, was delightful ,recommend. We would love to return, to holiday again, at Kervingant . Both Erik the owner and Simon the caretaker ,were helpful, it couldn't have been better, thankyou.
